Well done. What month(s) did you sail? Also did you carry all your own food on board or did you stop and purchase as you went? I have to ask how you managed to stop the auto bailer from leaking, I have sailed Laser II and I found the bailer to be prone to leaking.

Hey Igor, wondering what kind of bailer was in your cockpit on the Laser 2? I have one as well and just did a trip to some local islands in Lake Superior but it was always leaking water in while trying to sleep for the night. Camped ashore but I'd love to sleep in the cockpit like you.
@IgorStropnik4 жыл бұрын
My bailer was standard and not leaking much. I was getting water in through dagerboard opening so every night I duck taped it and was ok.

@@IgorStropnik Thanks for the duct tape tip! I'll bring a roll for the daggerboard slot. I've got the standard bailer at the back end too, so I may just need to replace the seals or fix it. Thanks again for the help, this video's been an inspiration to me for quite a while.

This is CRAZY! Both your Norway long distance trip and this one average out exactly 55.5km/day!! What are the chances. Did you do this intentionally
@IgorStropnik4 жыл бұрын
In Norway summer you have day light 24h. So you can sail a lot. I would go for 30h sailing sometime as no good place to stop. Adriatic sea is more tricky with winds. In june you have were long day. If you start early morning you can get beautiful offshore wind which stops by 10h and I was lucky with day wind Maestral that started 12h and goes untill sunset. In Croatia you can get very low winds but I was lucky and best day was 70Nm which is amazing.
