Acadia National Park in Maine is a stunning area in the north east United States that encompasses many different islands and tons of fun adventures ranging from seeing the sunrise at the first place in the USA to hiking the popular Beehive Trail. My dad and I spent 36 hours here in the fall and loved getting to know this spectacular park. Let me know what your favorite part of the park is in the comments.

The rocky coast of Maine, will not disappoint. Thunder hole in a choppy sea is amazing one may get wet. There are no large bill board advertising signs in Maine , all signage is regulated. I truly want to return someday. You have rekindled many of my memories.

While looking out over the Atlantic did you notice the color difference? The Atlantic Ocean is green in color while the Pacific Ocean is much bluer. Have dipped my toes in both. Josh I think you're crazy! Risking your neck to that degree is ridiculous! Pops time lapse is awesome. He's gotten really good with the camera. In a different video I mentioned New England is beautiful but one drawback is it is pricey. one of the best parts of your videos is your great relish when you achieve something difficult. Popovers are New England delights. My aunt used to make them once in a while when i was a kid. Yummy!

I give you a lot of credit for actually filming while climbing. That must have been quite a task! You earn a gold star for this one man! And Pops can do no wrong in my book. He is a trooper! Firstly , those steep climbs are just mind-boggling...narrowest of ledges , rocky terrain ..But the views are absolutely spectacular ...Swathes of mesmerizing splendor ,slopes bedecked in stunning autumn palette and miles of soothing blue complemented beautifully by a storybook setting...The sunrise and sunsets were equally stunning ...Beautiful skies adorned with hues and shades of red gold glory generously brushed with Nature's lovely paintbrush dipped in a glorious palette of Natures choicest colours ...Captivating views of foliage framed by autumnal tree branches and an aqua expanse...Loved the viewing...Thanks for sharing

I love Acadia - I think I would hang out with Pops on that trip! No hiking straight up for me! :-) I give you a ton of credit doing the hike on Precipice, gives me the chills! Cadillac Mountain is the best place on the whole east coast to see the sunrise. I went there a few years ago at 5:00 in the morning and waited for the sunrise. It is the first place to see the sunrise in the US. Great time lapse by Pops!

I lived in Maine for over 5 years, not far from Bar Harbor- and you did a great job showing Acadia park! Summer is very busy with tourists. I too enjoyed sunrise from Cadillac mountain and it is a treat! It randomly popped up so I watched your west coast tour now this- that’s how I found your awesome channel! Cheers to you and your pops- great time lapse videos he does!! A less known treat is Schoodic Point.. during high tide is the best!! Generally it’s not busy. Just as gorgeous as Bar Harbor!!

Excellent video. My friend and I visited the end of October. Unfortunately we were unable to watch sunrise due to the cloudy weather. However, now i m able to appreciate this breathtaking sunrise through your lens. we watched the high wave crashing a small inlet causing thunder like sound at thunder hole. It was so thrilled. Definitely i should check this place again. Beehive hiking trail is also my must go place lists. Thank you so much for sharing this magnificent colorful view🍁🌷

Visited Acadia this past summer with my girlfriend. We did everything you did minus Precipice Trail (it was closed) and Beech Mountain. In addition, we saw the sunset on Cadillac Mountain and went over to the Schoodic peninsula for a night of camping. When I did the Beehive Trail, it was so foggy that it was like climbing through a cloud, with absolutely no views, but no height trepidation either.

I forwarded it to family that will be coming north in June. We will be staying in Southwest Harbor as usual in recent years. I like that you had good video and description of the Precipice Trail. That trail will be closed until mid-July but I wanted family to see what they will miss this June.

Excellent. Feels like a PBS production. I've watched this channel through the years and watched your progression deviate to the far right on a standard deviation scale. What a great video on Acadia National Park! You and Pops sure crammed alot into 36 hours. We were there for the first time in June for 3 nights and didn’t do nearly as much hiking. Couldn’t get reservation for Jordan Pond and were traveling in our RV so there are significant limitations on where we could drive and park. So we took the free shuttle system which worked great, except we caught COVID on it. Knocked us out for 10 days. Walked to Bass Harbor Lighthouse from our RV Park. Got the close view, but missed the rocks view. Also, stayed at the other area of the Park- the Schoodic Peninsula and was a very nice campground and less crowded coastal views

I live in Boston so Maine isn't that far and we'd go visit in summer and ski in winter, but bar harbor is amazing, a place called otter cliffs, granite ledges with the waves crashing against is beautiful, the view from Cadillac mtn overlooking the ocean is incredible, on the road up the mtn they have little pull off spots that have signs that show how the glaciers carved the land, very informative, camping in the park is great too, salt air, pristine land. Good luck.
