Wow 😲 That moment when you come through the door. It's amazing. The ceilings are high, but not too high. That's how i would imagening my great room, with direct access to the kitchen/dining/office/laundry. I loved the sizes of the beds 😄 I'm also a Loft-lover. The window above there could a be bigger though. Also, i would wanted to have a window in the kitchen, but overall it's a great house 👍 P.s. It's a bit windy there, i see 😄 Which made it more realistic somehow. Like the sprawling surroundings you chose. There were the best so far, within many i have seen elsewhere.

4 BR (including loft which could easily be repurposed) with an open concept. I love it, assuming the dryer is vented to the garage. Great living area! Decent sized bedrooms. 2 car garage. I would make the front living room a library and office. A home run!

These house designs now days feature entirely too much glass in view of the kinds of severe weather experiences of most of our Country. In a severe monsoon, tornado or Hurricane and any storm with large hail stones, glass can become flying knife blades. So, my recommendation is to reduce the amount and have glass where it is most enjoyable just not so much of it. Everyone should have a safe place in their home if possible.

I'm not keen on the style of this house, and there's no place to put my coat and remove footwear when I enter. The second living room could be used as an office or studio. The kitchen is a good size and there is a pantry. The mezzanine bedroom lacks privacy.

That's when you add an attached garage with a mudroom. You can also tweak the front hall design to fit your needs. I do agree the loft needs privacy but it could be a fun room for kids; pool table, air hockey, weight lifting equipment, etc. I'd turn the second living room into a library. 📚📖

Loft would make a great play and bunk bed area for the grands! Kids don’t need privacy. They need supervision.

I wonder: who is this house for? Four bedrooms and all with double beds. Will four married couples without children live here? After all, most families have children. Why do children need double beds? Where will they do their homework? There is not a single desk or computer desk (however, this is fixable). There is no window in the kitchen, this is bad. The lack of space for outerwear at the entrance has already been mentioned here. And the laundry room is too narrow to serve as an entrance hall. In short, the plan has good potential, but its concrete implementation in this case leaves much to be desired.

Many single adult children live with parents because they cannot afford their own home/apartment. Our daughter lives with us and has a double bed. Choice of furnishings is yours. Designer just shows the possibilities

@@joanwood9480 That's why I wrote that the plan has good potential. But here we are evaluating a specific ready-made interior design option, including furnishings. Well, let's assume that the furniture issue is resolved. And where to leave outerwear and outdoor shoes?
