Oh my goodness! This is so good! So nice to see Hamish, Molly , and Steve back together jammin! They sound like the old days! They are having so much fun! They look so happy together! I love it! Only sad part is Molly's passing on Hamish 's birthday October 8,2019.What a way to remember your birthday, losing a friend, and bandmember all in one day! Wow! Thanks Hamish, Steve, and most of all I had a chance to see Molly one more time before his passing. What a sensational moment! Seeing history again! What a thrill! Thanks guys for the music once again! Molly your horn will certainly be missed! RIP Molly! I love you guys, since I heard you in 1974.And seen the original Awb group in 1975 in Detroit, Cobo Arena. A bit older but you guys still got it!🤗🤗🤗🤗🥁🥁🎤🎤🎙🎙🎷🎷🎷🎷🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

I saw them in the mid-70s play Regis the old house in Denver Colorado when I was about 13 years old Steve tore the house down with his plane, he would take a solo flip his sticks in the air about 10 feet catch them both and be right on time without skipping a beat finish the song to a standing ovation, pure professional in the pocket drummer!

Me and my wife saw them at Lockerbie Jazz Festival( Hamish and the lads nearly missed it !!!, ask Hamish). Amazing gig.It was first time I had seen Steve and I was blown away, absolutely blown away,by his sound and feel.Molly was superb and I could see him mentoring/ giving guidance to the 2 great young musicians, trumpet( flugelhorn maybe) and trombone.Amazing trombone solo by the way( and that's from someone who achieved Grade 5 on trombone, I will have you know).At Lockerbie, they performed Cloudy and it was the best version I have ever heard, unbelievably emotional. My wife has downloaded some of the tracks for the gig if anyone is interested.If you are, post a comment and I will post the link.Cheers, Hamish,Steve, Molly......but also Messr Pearce and the other great musicians for a highlight in my live musical experiences.Duncan

Duncan, the reason for the smiles is that the horn section is in a wrong place rhytmically, one bar ahead and Steve is accenting his crash to try to guide the band :) You'll see Molly's surprise face at the end :)

@LiamEserda7 жыл бұрын
Great!!! These guys are having fun together, have never seen the original AWB line-up live. Have seen it with Alan, Onnie and Roger Ball and Elliot Lewis, they were still good but not having as much fun as Hamish, Molly and Steve! After Roger and Eliott left AWB it wasn't AWB anymore. In fact when Hamish and the others here left too it already wasn't AWB anymore but still good. After that they had so many drummers and guitar/keyboard/singers players came and went and It was over for me. But when these guys are going to perform in The Netherlands I will sure go to their performance! Great!!!!
