That event in Plano sounds fabulous- a group of my favourite pouring artists all in one place at the same time- that would be a wonderful experience, wish travel across the border was an easy thing! Really hope it’s a huge success and that you’ll plan another when life settles down again! These paintings you did in today’s video are fabulous- that first one- stunning! Well, both are stunning but I especially love the movement in the first one!

I have had lots of cracking how much GAC do you use in your base paint. See you in Plano 12 am class
@WaterfallAcrylics3 жыл бұрын
1/4 cup for ounces of house paint.
@redinfiniti20093 жыл бұрын
I thought you mixed your Captivate 2 C to 1/4 C of GAC 800. I did that for the first time today but didn’t use it yet. I thought it looked a little thin. Did I get this wrong.

4 cups to 1/4 cup GAC.

@@WaterfallAcrylics thanks so much. BTW I love watching your videos. You make me smile. An idea for a video is I would like to see you fix a dried painting. I’m not a trained artist, just a hobbiest. I’ve heard you say you save some paint in case you need to touch something up like possibly air bubbles etc. anyway I would like to see you fix a painting with whatever the fixes might be. Thanks.
@idabourne8233 жыл бұрын
Maybe use purple or gold as cell activator. The black makes is muddy. And white on top isn't effective.

Define cell activator please... im confused..
@WaterfallAcrylics3 жыл бұрын
One color is mixed differently from the rest and causes a reaction when blown on by mouth or with a hair dryer. That reaction creates the cells and lacing. See the recipe in the description section.

What is GAP product? U mention it all the time.

GAC800 is a product by Golden that can be use as either a pouring medium or added to paint to prevent crazing.
