Hey guys! I'll be back hopefully later today to respond to comments! I'm off to plant the hay fields today! Been busy shooting so much farming videos that I haven't had much time to edit! I've got pasture scooping, manure loading, manure truck getting stuck and more manure! Did I mention manure?! Plus seeding and a few more farm surprises coming up! Happy planting everyone!

When I retired, I went back to a special ceremony at the place I retired from..... I was asked what I had been doing...... I replied hunting and fishing..... where apon a supervisor said .... A couple suggestions.... lift the front end of the tractor with the loader buckets when using the backhoe. Second use the backhoe boom to lift the rear of the tractor when you set your outriggers. This allows you to level the rear of the machine and create a stable base so you don’t drag the tractor as much!

Hope you’re enjoying your new toy. When using the backhoe put your front bucked down also put more pressure on your outriggers and lift the back tires a little more. Definitely put fluid in your rear tires. Be careful what you use. Alot more are coming loaded with beet juice. Wont rust your rims and is environmentally friendly if you should get a flat. Enjoy, be careful, be safe!!!!!

Never dig off to the side unless the outrigers r down and the wheels r off the ground. the side pressure on the wheels could cause problems with the oil seals on the bearings. also putting the front bucket down hard will help hold the tractor,

Loaded tires help. Also good for stability for loader work. Another thing that works well for backhoe stability and stops the sliding is to tip bucket edge downward, and press down on ground with front end loader/ bucket edge.

Recommend you put in plastic pipe with tile drain to drain water to a central location. Simple solution and low cost since you will drain away from road way and you can put drains in the tree line so you can then keep the water problems to a minimum. I have purchased 4 in. x 100 ft. Corrugated Drain Pipe under 100 dollars per roll and you can buy couplers, joiners and drains for this to eliminate you drainage problems. I have put the pipe in creeks, tanks and so on to remove excess water. I works very well. Low cost too

This area is the lowest in about 100 acres or more, so getting water wicked away is tricky . . . we dug out the pond to the side, but even that floods over into the road in really rainy seasons . . . and even the woods behind it are full of water :(

If there's a culvert under that roadway, take the time to find it and clean it out. Just cleaning the ditch will only bring more water down to where it floods the road, unless you give it somewhere to go. If you can't find the culvert, dig out the road and put 1 in. That's what a backhoe is for.

The backhoe is fine for your tractor. The operator can take less aggressive scoops if it pushes the tractor around. Also you can put on a smaller bucket, and fill the loader for more weight. Your soil is really the determining factor.

Wow, you have more self control than I do. I would have been on that tractor in the first two minutes! Manure happens Suzanne 👍 Don’t use the parking brake. The wheels are off the ground. Raise the back wheels first with the outriggers and then the front wheels with the scraper edge of your loader. It’s the scraper edge that works as your parking brake. And getting the wheels off the ground widens your stance making the whole machine stable.

They have been building tractors for other companies for years, and finally now decided to go under their own name. They are actually the only company that China allows to import their tractors "as is", everyone else like John Deere, New Holland, etc can only have factories IN China and they ALL have to be made identical with only difference being paint color. The nice thing is that this tractor has standard features that every other company charges extra for, such as mirrors and lights!

A nice tooth bucket on the front stabbed into the ground would anchor it well. Make sure the bucket is facing down and the front wheels are off the ground. Run the engine a little slower like 3/4 throttle for digging it will slow the hydraulics and make it not as twitchy. Less slaming the arms and bucket. You don't have to run it wide open to dig with the backhoe. The guy said run it wide open but what he meant was don't idle it around all the time.

Its not under or over powered. Its a light unit. Hydraulics are extremly powerful. Load all tires with beet juice. When using back hoe, your brakes do nothing to hold you in place because out riggers have rear tires off the ground. Until you load the tires, scoop something, gravel, mud what ever in front bucket and make sure it's full, put bucket on ground and lift front tires off the ground. Then set out riggers to raise back wheels off the ground. That should hold you in place unless tou take to deep of a cut. Try it, youll be more productive then scooting yourself across the ground.

Well Susan, it is light in the britches for doing stuff its capable of so calcium in the tires or whatever they suggest to use will help.... to much power?????? Are you dreaming or just scared of what it can do. I was impressed with how well Eric ran the hoe and its not a easy task. More of a years of experience thing and he is showing that isn't the first seat he sat in. I'm more of a excavator guy. I use the backhoe to lift the tractor up and slide it side to side or back and forth so's to get more out of each parking space. You have more clay than anyone person should have on a thousand acres but you work with what you have. It may seem rough on that machine but its what it was designed for is to work. I seldom moved the tractor unless it was a distance to the next dig. I don't think it will break moving it around and its easier to move it the way mentioned than getting on and off and needing just a foot more to get what is holding you up. Your going to need some shale or good gravel on that road for base or it will stay wet and cut divots into that road bed to get the water into the ditch or hard bank it over so it wants to stay out of the road. I haven't found a tractor that size that has had enough power as it really can't be over revved on to make it work any harder than it does. Crowning the road is a only way known to get that water where you want it.
