I have only just found your video and wish that you had made some more, you are a very warm gentle soul. I share your views on being at home too but we just cant afford that I give up work.. I keep trying to think of ways of making money from home. I dont have a well paid job but have tried to give up once before and money wise it didnt quite work out. I would love to see another video even if you ended up taking a different path, lots of us share this dream and for what ever reason are not able to stay at home and its sort of comforting to know that others struggle with it too.

I'd like to add my voice of encouragment to make more videos. Your honesty and insight are wonderful. You sound like someone I would just love to sit down and talk with. I'd love to hear about any skills you are passing on to your children and grandchildren. I am realigning things also because I realized how much more fulfillment I get from homemaking than working. And how much happier our family is.

Laura, the company I had was ScrapGirls - a digital scrapbooking website. I sold it in May of 2012. Sue, I'm like you in that I have to keep working, too. I have to support my family. It's a constant balancing act - this trying to keep things going - particularly for women. Cory, you don't sound like a kook at all. What you're saying is so true.

I just watched your video and I absolutely relate to what you are saying. After a corporate job I only wanted to be a homemaker again. I really wish you would post more videos or write something to share with those of us who need encouragement to find our way back to home. Thanks for this video. It took a great deal of courage to share your story.

I love your honesty, I've been there, things changed so fast, how did I not see it. I'm back on track, canning, cooking at home, baking my own bread, and dehydrating foods. Things are getting better. You're a beautiful soul and again, thank you so much for sharing.

Oh my gosh! You are going to think I am such a kook, RoseAnne...but I have been praying to encounter someone like you. In fact, I was just telling my husband last night that my being a traditional housewife, even after my kids are grown, is probably one of the most counterculture things a woman could do in our modern world. I too, know the value of the old skills, and the value of a pleasant home. (I have a library of vintage cook books lol!) It's soooo good to find you!!

I just loved this video; you are so honest and real and my heart just goes right out to you. I am married but without children, and I work full time (as does my husband). One of my greatest dreams is to be a stay-at-home homemaker, but I don't see that happening for me anytime soon. In the meantime, I try hard to do what I can, but I know exactly what you mean when you say that things fall by the wayside. Finding that balance is so hard sometimes! Hang in there and please consider making more videos! I would love to see how your journey goes. Blessings!

I wasn't taught any of those things and I am pretty much self taught since I got married. It is really hard since I"m not good at any of those skills and I have ADD.
