Neo-Geo, Neo-Geo 4 bright buttons and 2 joysticks! Great job on this one. I had a 1 slot Neo-Geo motherboard with Neo-Turf Masters and Metal Slug X. Who knew Neo Turf Masters (a golf game) could be so fun!

The Neo-Geo systems were so expensive when they were brand new, there was no way myself or friends could afford one. A friend of mine did purchase the memory card, which he would use on some games to do game saves.

I don't see this mentioned in the comments or video but did you touch up the side vinyl or lettering? It looks unusually pristine. It's hard to find Neo Geo cabinets that look that good. Another thing I've never heard of anyone doing is re-flowing the cartridge slots. I just replaced the battery on mine with a coin cell. The sound caps are a high failure point on these boards it seems too. I had a 2-slot in a converted cab with no sound and after the cap kit I got it back but my 4-slot board I could never get it back after replacing multiple chips in the sound section and caps.

The red is usually repainted if its poor....and the solder connections on the cartridge connectors on the board are starting to crack for sure....so while the board is out, just spend another half hour and CAREFULLY reflow solder on all those pins!

Hello, I'm restoring a cabinet like this, my gabinte had adapted Joystick with some perforations in the panel of buttons. I do not know what kind of buttons, joystick and microswitches were what they used originally. Someone could help me?
