37 Freeman Boat Wrap and Bottom Paint

We get our new 2019 37' Freeman Boatworks center console hauled out in the boat yard to get the bottom done with interlux paint and a Pelagic wrap installed! It took 5 days but we check in each day to show you the progress!

On the first freeman we had the bottom painted and wrap installed before I put it in the water , but the water line for bottom paint was off. So the best way to do it is to put it in the water and get that algae line marked

How do you get a boat like that while being a charter captain? Do you have another job or are you sponsored and they give it to you? I just want to know because I'm 15 yrs old and want to be a charter captain so bad when I grow up but I find just a buying a reliable boat in the future is extremely expensive and I have no idea where you would get the money from. Do you have to get a loan? Any help would would be appreciated!

I used to run the least expensive offshore boat in the fleet for my father. After 6 years I bought my own boat and raised my prices. I had that boat a couple years and then ordered a freeman. I started making an additional income running social media campaigns and forming partnerships with companies in the industry. Yes I got a loan, the interest is tax deductible. No, they don’t just give me a boat, they do have a pro staff program which helps with pricing though. Luckily the used ones are worth a lot and selling for more than people paid for them since a lot of people don’t want to wait 3 years to get one.

Avidfishing I dont know where you live but if there are local guides in your area reach out to them. If you have a good attitude and are eager to learn and you work hard I'm sure one of them would love to teach you the ropes. In my experience old guys are more then willing to share a vast amount of knowledge with someone of your age as opposed to a guy trying start a business that threatens them. Most of all never stop learning. And save your money don't be like the new generation that buys useless junk. If you bust your ass you can make it happen. Also start studying for a 6pack uscg license now so your ready!! Best of luck man!

Wraps average $100 a foot , but usually a little more on cats since the side profiles are bigger. There can be artwork fees too

Hull paint has zinc in it which helps prevent microbes from forming on it. A side effect is the dark color.
