Your message has made my week!!! Thank you - I have always hated the sound of my own voice and feeling really awkward, even though I have great ideas I want to share. in the recent years, I decided to just accept and like myself the way I am! It's not been easy and far scarier than cliff jumping. So, thank you for this!

thanks for sharing! do you have any videos or tips for layered charms?

I don't think there is much of a video to make cuz the one tip is: More the Better!!!! I must have 7 on my stack of 17 chains. I love them and each mean something special to me - more and more people are doing this. Instead of tattoos, they're collecting permanent jewelry momentos

Any concern for the safety of thicker chain, ie. getting caught and not breaking off the wrist causing harm in an accident?
@stonesandfindings Жыл бұрын
Certain activities and professions ban all jewelry while doing the activity for safety reasons - varsity sports, certain machine operators, EMS workers. One must use your own judgement the lifestyle they lead. I currently have just over a dozen bracelets on my left hand (I'm right handed), including a very thick chain, and I don't get them caught on things. Whereas, each one of my daughters have broken a bracelet each by snagging onto a door handle, bicycle break handle, sleeve button. They break and lose all sorts of things. So, for people like them, I would offer to not weld it shut, but to use a thicker OPEN jump ring and close it. It won't open by it's own, but if it ever got caught on something moving, the jump ring will open. This is actually a great idea for a video, using a pull scale to test thick jump ring strength - thank you!

Is the idea of ring to stay on permanently below the knuckle? Or just to be tight enough to slip on and off like a regular ring but with the look of chain. Fingers swell so much!
@stonesandfindings Жыл бұрын
If you are like me and have big knuckles, you can have them fitting under the knuckle - but just not tightly. Yes, we swell as much as 1 size during the summer. But if you want to slip it off, you can simply weld over the knuckle to ensure it come off. It really depends on the hand size. Chain rings can give perfect desired fit.
