Yet, the Bible is Very Clear, that people need to repent of their sins and turn towards Jesus Christ, since He bore their sins. Those, who do not want to repent of their sins and turn to Jesus Christ are NOT forgiven. When God's forgiveness is clearly DEPENDING on human action, so our forgiveness may too. If someone is truly sorry for what has been done, we ought to forgive that person and give that person a new chance. Yet, if a person is not repentant at all, really, God does not ask of us to forgive. He Himself doesn't either!

These videos have helped me in my spiritual journey to know and serve God. I have been thinking that I need a spiritual director to expand my learning and direction toward God. The Bible, of course, is essential. As Lewis pulls the Scripture together, I am encouraged. I don't have enough knowledge to enlarge Biblical wisdom, however, Lewis beautifully pulls these things together. I often have to stop to integrate these thoughts and listen again. I believe people are very mistaken about forgiveness. This is due to my own experience in life. If you forgive people who have intentionally hurt you without remorse, they will continue to walk all over you for the rest of your life. It's not unreasonable to want to be treated with dignity because you are a human being.

As your body transforms from a fertilized egg to where you are right now, you have constantly undergone a constant state of evolution. From being 100% dependent on your mother to survive, you are now capable of maintaining your own life. Your mind and conscience have also undergone countless changes. At first, you weren't even capable of being self-aware, and now you are the product of your education, formal and informal. Each step along the journey of your life, you have been ceaselessly evolving, and your personal journey is far from complete. Soon, you will no longer be the same person you are today, even if the change is slight. Until you have ended your life on this world, you will never cease to change.

I disagree and appreciate the emphasis. It puts me in a position of accountability to bridle my pride and to interpreting what Lewis is saying in order to justify myself. Listening to the interpretation makes it harder for me to do that because I need to find something wrong with the interpretation that's given. Doing so restrains my pride from leaving the interpretation up to me, but rather I must have reason to reject the interpretation. Therefore, I end up appreciating the quotes in a far deeper way by listening instead of hearing.

They showed me in my own Bible that Gods name is Jehovah, as Lutherans teach or Yahweh as Catholics teach or the Tetragrammaton as is written over 7000 times from the original manuscripts that make our Bible.
