Street: more realistic environment, cheaper Dyno: more controllable & repeatable, can measure power output, legal Reliability can suffer if the tuner doesn't know what he's doing or the map is particularly extreme. Anti-lag in rally cars is why they have to replace the turbo after every rally*. But with a well done, more subtle "street burble" tune, reliability won't be noticeably worse *Anti-lag in rally cars works very similarly to these burble tunes, but is much more extreme. As it has to be to get 400hp out of a 1.6l engine without ridiculous turbo lag.

I personally think you should of rented dyno time for him. It would have been worth getting your whp #'s. I know admin would of gotten you between 322-328whp with your upgrades. I havent seen limp mode consistent tune results before so i cant say in regards to his tune. But id say you should deff above 320whp @ around 7000rpms.

Congrats on the tune, I assumed you were getting dyno tuned on my last post. Car sounds good, would be interesting see what kind of power it’s making. Whether you go boost or not, based on where your cars at currently I would recommend a lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch. Great bang for your buck upgrade and the lightweight flywheel makes the car rev so much quicker, one of my favorite mods I’ve done to mine. Dropful My cuñados cousin has a Nismo and he is tuned and when he raced my cuñado in his Nismo which only had intake and test pipes the top end was drastically different

You won’t feel much of a regular punch you feel it in the top end the power band carries out longer , if you’re doing a 2-3 quick little pull you won’t feel much difference and you might even keep up but if you do a 2-5 you’ll be a couple cars back by then

Dropful 1. you can play with little stuff throttle response , 2. factory ECUs have a lot of restrictions that a tune can delete , 3. you maximize the power you’re getting from your mods for example your exhaust without a tune might give you +2whp with a tune it can maybe even give you like +8-10whp , 4. Launch control and anti lag . 5. You can see how healthy your Car is based off the power you’re making when you bring your car in based on mods most tuners know exactly what kind of numbers you should make if you make significantly less .. you know there’s some wrong . Now a days tho and what I kind of feel like youtubers like danny get tuned ESPECIALLY THE VQ boys is just to get video clips of them spitting flames

Dropful bottom end you won’t see a huge difference so that punch on that throttle won’t feel much different but when your reving out and you hit like 4.5k rpms and keep going you see the difference you see how the CAR KEEPS GOING AND KEEPS GOING and feels like it can keep going forever without a tune once you hit 120 you’ll see momentum slows down a lot more until you hit 150ish but with a tune you’ll get there a lot faster if you’re not actually racing tho and you just do street pulls for your own enjoyment you’re better off without a tune but don’t add too many breathers without a tune because your Can won’t like it that’s what tunes are for as well
