We got to see this ST374TH rig while staying in Palm Springs this winter and thought it was pretty cool.
Like said in the video, This RV combines some of the conveniences of a toyhauler with the practaciality of a rear bedroom fifth wheel. We had a toyhauler and while it was nice we hated losing all that living space. With this you wont have to.

Full profile refers to the front deck height. Full profile has a tall front cap allowing for a minimum of 6 foot head height from the top step to the lip in the front where the pin box attaches to the frame. Cheers!

That would be: #1 Luxe #2 New Horizon #3 Space Craft (due to the ugly interior ceiling). As for production models for full-time living: #1 Jayco Pinnacle (5" thick roof. It doesn't taper like others in the production luxury segment). #2 Forest River Riverstone Legacy (Wide body). #3 DRV. All three are made roughly the same. Each has their pros and cons depending on you needs and wants. DRV is a little more than the other two due to the advanced running gear they use and they also add a foam vapor barrier on the inside walls. When shopping for an RV make a list of needs then wants. Don't exceed 80% of your vehicles max capacity. I personally stay under 70%. I want to know I have the power and braking for maneuverability in an emergency. Reduced weight also means reduced wear and tear on your tow vehicle. Light/Lite/Ultralight/UltraLite all mean less and/or cheaper materials. Depending on where and how you use your unit this can be an issue. Know that the R-Values on RVs are calculated or projected. Many manufacturers fudge these numbers. There is no true R-value associated a sheet of foil or bubble wrap foil. Where one manufacture is great at insulating every void and others leave the small void open because cutting a piece of Styrofoam is too much work. Just remember no RV is perfect. These are made as quickly as possible by hand. There will be little flaws. Trim falling from the ceiling, a wire coming of the light switch, a crimp on the PEX wiggles loose on your first trip. Etc, etc.

Good video, I appreciate your input to some of the pros and cons. I have considered this brand because of the "toy box" and the higher end finishes. I currently have a 40' toy hauler, dual axle, used with my family and the occasional motorcycle or Side x Side. I still haven't made up my mind what comes next when the kids stop traveling with us. I'd like to avoid a tri axle if possible

This design is available from many brands. Some have the power bed lift to provide more room to transport toys.

Great video! I liked that you mentioned both pros and cons. What brand of rig do you own now? Our present fifth wheel we have owned for three months and already we are looking for another one. Hubby is a below knee amputee; therefor he needs more bathroom space. We had to remove the bathroom door after he took a spill down the while on crutches; even I have had a couple of near misses.

Ahh that makes sense, have you considered any of the front bath layouts, they have the most room as far as I have seen in the bath, we specifically chose an rv with the vanity and shower in the bedroom space because it opens it up so much. They don't really make em that way any more. We have a drv mobile suites.

1st time I’ve heard (admit) triple axels are harder to turn that double. I was amazed how much harder it was getting into tight spaces verses double axels.

I'm looking for an rv with a raised front living room and a toy box underneath the bed. That way I don't loose any living area but can take our trike along. The problem is, they are 9 feet long and our trike is 119" long. Any ideas? I have looked at the Montana Big country, Momentum, and Forest River Silver back Edition. Do any of you know of another rv that has a longer garage? or one that my husband can knock out the front of the toy box to make room for the front wheel of trike? He's very handy. We checked out the Momentum 376 and it won't work because the front of the garage's wall goes into the black water tank. As you can tell, we are desperate to find one. He just bought a 3500 deisel dually so we can go rving and now we can't find the right rv under $80,000

Your only choice is a traditional toy hauler or a dolly for your trike. There is a company that makes these for Smart cars and other small vehicles. It's a particular single axle trailer that's attached to the frame of the RV with two bars. Because it is not attached with a ball hitch, this type of "trailer" becomes an extension of the RV and not a separate trailer. Something, something....blah, blah, blah. Cheers!

I was referring to higher end rigs like DRV, New Horizons, spacecraft,Teton Homes, excel Peterson, etc. they are really in a different class tho.

Pinnacle, Riverstone, and other luxury production fifth wheels. GD is mid-level. No hard wood stiles or doors. Cabinet doors and drawers are hardwood. Look beyond the pretty and you'll see the difference in quality. Have fun with your search and adventures. The ones Tom list, besides DRV, are custom units. Which if you want to a custom unit Luxe, in my opinion is pretty damn great. Each brand has their pros and cons based on your needs and wants.. Cheers!

Great video! You mentioned at the end that you think that Grand Design is a middle of the road quality RV. We are trying to pick a fifth wheel now and were considering Grand Design. What models would you consider to be better than Grand Design? Other than like a $150,000 Luxe or something =)

Its all a matter of opinion, We travel in a DRV which we very much like the build quality of. Highest quality would be custom (spacecraft, continental coach etc...) Higher than Grand design would be DRV, Augusta, Redwood, Teton etc... Grand design falls in with more standard builds but probably at the higher end. We have seen much worse, and much better, so hence middle of the road. (Again this is just our opinion from being through a lot of them)

Remember to look at used Alpenlites. They were a luxury rv in their day and we absolutely love our 2002, 35 foot 5th wheel. We have not had a single issue unlike almost all rv-ers we know. We've owned it for 18 months. Ours has a full size refrigerator/freezer and 4 burner Amana propane stove! Great quality! Since ours was only slightly used, we got a great deal paying $19k!

Awesome video, we had toured the 376TH Momentum and chosen it for our next rig, but had yet to see the Solitude so thank you so much for sharing. In the Momentum you can push a button in the garage which raised the bed giving more head room in the garage to ride the bike in and out. Do you know if that was an option on the Solitude ?

I've personally seen a 2019 of these that had the button. Sat right below the light in the garage on the right side. It's not in this video, and I'm not sure if it's something that just became standard, or was optioned in the one I saw, but they definitely do exist.

The next step up in quality puts you into DRV, Augusta, Redwood etc... Really any of the top end manufacturers. Beyond that your talking custom by someone like spacecraft, continental coach or the like.
