As Newfoundlanders, my husband and I really enjoyed your videos! We love seeing places we have been and places we haven’t. You certainly aid in decision making of where we want to visit next on our beautiful island. Love your channel! Happy travels!

Love the video and thank you for showing the area beyond Stephenville. One part of the island we have not explored over the past 11 long summers in our camper from our cabin near Bonavista. Newfoundland has become a tourist hot spot in the summer, especially in the past 5 years. You need to book the ferry 4-6 months in advance, especially if you want a cabin or one of the few dog cabins. We gave up the 30 hour drives back & forth from Ontario each summer (we are retired) and just moved to this wonderful island in the past week.

I was there playing in band in the late 70’s. Winter time in a school bus that seemed to break down every hour or so . St John’s and Corner Brook were the two stops I most remember . Brutal winters lovely people who explained that it’s pronounced, Newfound Land Understand! Great video ~ greatly appreciated!!

Really enjoying your travels, especially Newfoundland. I've been there about 7 times via adventure motorcycle. I love it. Glad you took the time to get to Port au Port Peninsula. Once you're in Nova Scotia, 2 must sees are Cape Clear and Meat Cove in Cape Breton .

We’re loving following on your epic adventure to Newfoundland. It’s so beautiful. Just notice your metal table that you set up behind your chairs while overlooking the cliffs. We’ve been looking for one like that. Do you have a link to share for that? Keep traveling!!

We are headed to Newfoundland this Summer. You have to tell us where and how you meet the commercial fisherman? We'd love to do that fishing trip vs. a tourist trip. We love to volunteer work.

Hi, Mortons, Love your videos. One question, Are you able to stay in the camper when it is still mounted on the truck for the night, or it has to be taken off to have the slide-out out? Thanks.
@MortonsontheMove5 ай бұрын
No slides on this rig, but ones that do always stay on. We had 2 slides on our last truck camper.

The fish you referred to is Mackerel. However...the 5 per day for the "food fishery" is referring to the Cod Fish...not Mackerel.
