Hey David, I notice you have a habit of cutting off guests while they speak and are trying to explain something about their car and their thought never makes its way into the video. I'm not sure if anyone else notices it. I just happened to catch it here when you asked about the 10 speed and he basically said nothing about it.

Hey man! I have an Accord 2.0T myself and am extremely interested in doing a CTR turbo swap like yours. Mind if I dm or email you with questions about your build? I absolutely love how clean and unassuming your car looks. I'm trying to make a full self driving luxury sleeper that I can drive to work without getting any looks but can also haul ass when I feel like driving :D Right now I'm close to mostly achieving that with a hondata stage 2 off the shelf tune, but throwing in an OEM CTR turbo or the MHI turbo would really make it special

As a father of 3, I take the route less traveled and also consider family sedans. I don't have all the money in the world to afford a CTS-V or Hemi Charger. Something.like a Trail Blazer SS was in my realm, but those types of vehicles are limited. I ended getting a 2011 Buick Lacrosse CXS Touring at a steal and did wheels and FBO. It's different, it's spacious, luxurious, it handles like a hothatch, has just over 300hp on tap and screams to 7000 rpm. It's fun, while being practical. People hate and call it rice, but for us who aren't single men or wealthy, it's the best we can do at the moment lol More dad sedans please, such an underappreciated group of car guys who actually put some work into these family coaches and make them fast :)

All you need is about 300 HP to have fun. I mean I bought a Acura TSX back in 13 with the 6 speed its still a blast to drive even with 205 HP its luxurious and fun to drive. What more can you want I have 3 kids as well. But one of them already bought a Honda Accord 1.5 sport I helped him buy that car for him. Giving my TSX to my next coming up Son until he can buy his own car. I still enjoy this car very much. I now bought a TLX Type S Tiger Eye Pearl and it rocks man. Get yourself what you need F what people say. You can have a family and still kill.

Lowered it on prelude eibach springs and I swear sometimes in high school felt like I was driving a Rolls. I knew it wasn’t, but I still remember that feeling. Long story short a guy t boned me at an intersection and ripped that dream away. I’ve never been able to find a 92 in such good shape. Being on a limited budget with a mortgage and family of five in 2012. When I shopped for a family sedan I looked at used wrxs, foresters, and maximas. For the price of used I could get a brand new stock 2.0t sonata with 275hp. I ended up getting the turbo Sonata and tuning it to 300whp on 93 octane with the stock turbo. I would suprise many cars on the highway who thought I was an easy target even stock turbo Accords, only to get their egos crushed. The problem is, from a stop or low speed the car would lose traction to easily just like the Accord on the video. It sucks having the power but not being able to put it down efficiently. These cars need a limited slip at higher hp levels. My car is approaching 10 years old, and I am seriously considering a turbo Accord as a replacement when the time comes. One advantage is there should be a huge aftermarket for the Accords, and parts and even engines from other Hondas may be swappable. The negative is in NYC I see these cars everywhere, it's hard to be unique because alot of people work on these cars whether it be aesthetics or performance.
