This is the update following the 37 inch tire fitment video on my 2000 Toyota Tundra.
• 37 Inch Tire Fitment 1...
Reevaluated my wheel and tire set up after blowing up my front differential at Sand Hollow. Went from Beadlocks and Nittos to SSW and Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP.
Set ups and weights as follows:
Beadlocks 45lbs+Nittos 78lbs=123lbs per corner
SSW 26lbs+Nittos 78lbs=104lbs per corner
SSW 26lbs+MT Baja EXP 70lbs=96lbs per corner
1lbs static weight=8lbs rotational weight
Overall -27lbs of static weight or -216lbs of rotational weight.
Can’t say that’s 100% accurate but it’s a night and day difference in performance.
Side note, the indentations you see in the tires are Radial wrinkles or creases. I contact MT about that and they assured me that it happens to some of their tires when aired down and not a safety concern unless there is bubbling.
