I've done the adding spices to my coffee in my coffee filter before brewing and have done for years, you can even add dried fruits like raisins for example. So, maybe once in a blue moon 5-minute crafts shows a "craft" that is legit. I'm 43 and have added spices and dried fruits to the ground coffee before brewing for decades and it does work. :)
