This is a great interview. I wish they had delved a little more into the US label’s response to “Under the Iron Sea” and addressed the difference in dynamics between US labels and UK labels with specific regard to their relative openness to deviations from expectations - musically speaking. I also loved the question about a non-single that the band was fond of. Interviews should be an opportunity to resurface new information of a band while also coaxing viewers to explore more of a band’s catalog - and I think this interview really does lay the groundwork for that. It would be great if more interviewers indulged this approach even more.

I love this band. I came so close to seeing them in Vancouver recently but they canceled at the last hour. My all time favourite song of theirs is Broken Toy. Strange Room is their best song from the new album.
