There's some Russian company called NDA Sound who's currently copyright claiming this 1999 song as their own because one of their artists made a song that sampled this track. people try to dispute the copyright claims but they get rejected by these guys. They're apparently known for doing this to other video game soundtracks. if you look at the description of this video, you can see the song in question

@@swordofstabbing No no, of course i know Harry was the only one to survive in the Good Ending i was just saying the other characters from the different silent hill games manage to escape the hellish world as well. Except James was the only main character that didn't get out or thats how it is interpreted.

@@SOYZBEANPRODUCTIONS It's not that James wasn't the only one to make it. It's up to interpretation. The leave ending has James realize that ending Mary's life was an act of mercy and love, a heart wrenching choice to end her suffering, their suffering. So, he lives on for her sake and adopts Laura as Mary's final wish. In Water has James realize killing Mary was a cruel act of revenge for behavior outside of her control. He let guilt consume him, and so ended his own life. Both are considered good endings because they give James a resolution, while Maria's ending has him giving into his ideal vision of his wife, only destined to suffer again because he learned nothing. In rebirth, it probably went even worse for James. So James may have made it out.
