So I have a pretty funny story regarding this song. Four year old me was in the middle of unwrapping presents on Christmas 1999. My cousin had received Silent Hill and immediately went to boot it up on the family's Playstation 1. The frantic string music blared from the TV as the intro started, and it did something to me... I didn't get scared, but I instantly felt the greatest sense of urgency I have ever felt in my life. I stood up and screamed bloody murder as I was literally about to shit myself from the music, and I began running around, searching for the bathroom in a wild panic. I didn't find it in time.
