The packaging is more remarkable than the watch, but actually, the packaging I find quite hideous. So, their clearly trying to appeal to a different kind of customers from the go. The watch overall is OK. The level of transparency is obviously a novelty, but I'm quite sure a novelty that'll wear off far more quickly than actually a truly beautiful design and finish would do. For this general design approach to watches we're spoilt for choice and some of these have a lot more aesthetic character and appeal. That said, they may not have this particular movement. But I'm not in the camp that'll buy a watch for the movement. I may rather buy a watch in spite of the movement.

@@ILikeWatches2 the one thing that is clear is that you have been gifted a very expensive watch to do a PR job on it and even at £1,700 I wouldn't consider it for one second, especially as a good deal of money has been spent on an impressive but useless box. If they can discount it that much before launch it tells you the true value of the obviously Chinese made watch anyway.

I was gutted when you uncovered what looked to be an overdone Patek homage for $3,000! I wish them the best, but at the $3,000 price point there is a lot of serious competition from heritage companies with original designs that will retain their value far longer.
