Hey Dan, don't forget to pay the mechanic that fixed your airbag $1000, and take it off your taxes :) Checked the prices, and you saved a ton of money by doing that one repair. Keep on Truckin'

I think the reason your exhaust pipe keeps breaking is because the muffler is hung with solid mounts and it can't move when the engine flexes on it's rubber mounts. Try hanging the muffler using rubber tailpipe hangers so it can flex with the engine.

Spend many hours changing a spring or a few minutes changing an airbag. Add to that the much better ride, empty or loaded that doesn't beat a truck or trailer to death.

Stop by a tarp shop and have them seam down each side of the repair tape and you should be good with the repair otherwise with as long as the rip is it might not hold for an extended time.

I have a set of those bags. Or the same bolt pattern. Ordered a pair of bags for my KW. Got them in and had the single bolt in the bottom. Mine has 2 on bottom and top. So still have that single bolt set.

Have you ever thought about periodically spraying some kind of protective coating, such as Armor All, on the air bags to keep them more supple and preventing dry rot over time? They live in a pretty tough environment.
