Absolutely beautiful and majestic as always, Louise. Those colors almost reminds me of Disney's mascot Mickey Mouse, which Walt Disney originally did the voice, and he and Ub Iwerks were the original character designers before Fred Moore redisigned him in 1939, which was 85 years ago since the redesign was made.

Thank you once again, 🧡Jude, I always appreciate your comments. Something I never mentioned I almost scrapped. This set of coasters if you can believe it, truth be told, I didn’t like them at all and almost scraped them or poured over them. But I just decided to give it a chance. I still didn’t like them before I resined them and all of a sudden after resining oh my gosh, totally different!

The first time I heard about it was not even two years ago, and as soon as I heard the term, the light bulb went off in my head and I got cracking. Don’t regret that, basically self taught myself these techniques since they’re not easy to find on KZbin, thank you once again, my friend. Why don’t you give it a shot?

Wait a minute Ozwald, your park, attendant, tree, lover, and rockhound?😅 Yes, the DecoArt Rose Quartz is really pretty. And truth be told on this coaster set, I almost didn’t complete it after the first one. The first coaster was one of those meh ones, borderline at best but I thought I would just continue and see what happens. Glad I did.

@@LouiseMcKayArt I have in my collection, something that literally fell off a gravel truck. It's a dinosaur bezor. This carnivore was just finishing digesting it's lunch, just as it died. What was left of the bones fused together in it's stomach, then solidified into a fossil. I don't dare show it, for fear of being hounded by anthropologists to sell it. It's that rare.
@LouiseMcKayArt
@LouiseMcKayArt 2 ай бұрын
@@TheParkAttendant wow, I never heard of a dinosaur bezor before, it sounds quite interesting. How do you know the dinosaur died just after digesting a meal? How do you tell that from the rock? I’m just really curious to get my interest peaked here.
@TheParkAttendant
@TheParkAttendant 2 ай бұрын
I'm pretty good at pulling information together. The first thing I noticed was the color. It was ivory in color. The second was it's ball like shape. Across the surface is all of these shapes, I knew I had seen something like it before. Then I remembered that I had seen spinal vertebrae that look similar. It was when a documentary by Nature about snakes that brought it all together. They had given a rat to a snake for it's dinner. Then they x-rayed the snake to see how it was digesting it's meal. The last thing that was left were the spinal vertebrae, these are the thickest and densest bones in any mammals body. That's when I pulled it all together, this animal was digesting the last of it's meal. It's not unusual to find dinosaur bone that is still ivory in color. The stomach acid had softened up the bone. Then after the animal died, the digestion stopped, creating this bezor. A bezor is any mass that hardens in the stomach. Goat bezors were thought to absorb poison. So Royalty would dip them into there wine before drinking it. Even though this animal died before it could finish digesting it's meal, it is still, technically a bezor. I'm practically living on top of a fossil bed. Fossils are harder than the rock around them, so the rock erodes from around the fossil. I've collected dinosaur coprolite, "poo" from both carnivores and herbivores. As well as pieces of stag coral and brain coral that got washed down out of the mountains. Truth is I found a good portion in my old back yard, and around the park. I know I sound like I'm boasting but I even found a fossilized worm track in the parking lot at my old job. I spent a good portion of my breaks waking around the parking lot and cleaning up ever fossil I could find. I even found another rarity, a piece of fossilized mammal poo. Truth is no one wanted to touch it, until I recognized it for what it was.

@@TheParkAttendant wow Ozwald, you’re a regular walking encyclopedia/archeologist sleuth in one! I guess I’m a bit nerd, find your explanation quite interesting, not sure I’d be too interested in the hard poo, but I vet analyzed it can tell alot about the creature at the time! You should write about your finds!

Yes, yes Heather, you hardly need any paint for these coasters. I see so many people putting down gallons of paint that end up just pouring off before they even start to spin and I want to yell at them stop already. Just a few dribbles in the sound activity you only need just a tiny fingertip Drip! Such a key thing to understand I’m glad you do and yeah, I love that color combination🩷🩷☺️
