So Cool Thanks for sharing!!! I rode weekend trips out of Middletown. NY in high school days down to Hobo late 73/ summer of 74 in stillwell cars behind EL E-8's or GP-7's to visit my older bro in NJ. He just turned 81 dammm how time fly's by but the memories will always remain!! EL E-8's and or GP-7's

I love how do you give like almost a history overview of that station it’s really interesting and it shows that every train station has some type of history keep up the amazing work.

Outstanding catches of NJ Transit & Metro North I love their F40s & Geeps excellent power they have and Nice catch of the CNJ Heritage Unit GP40P 4109 and your at the stop where My Aunt & Uncle Live

FYI.... The two existing tracks now in use were the EL's two freight main lines remaining out of the four original four track main thru here. The old SF leaning tower of pizza lol was torn down back in the early 80's, old classic Erie RR a bit larger than the restored Waldwick tower. BTW the Hillburn yard just North retains/ restored yard tracks as in the EL days (5) NS freight (former EL receiving yard for the Mahwah Ford assembly plant) and the other 5 tracks still serve as the commuter storage tracks to this day.

In 1974, there was a train passing by this location every 8 minutes.

Do you know why the honk when they enter a station? Septa doesn’t do that.
