There will be degrees of punishment in hellfire when the wicked are punished on earth. Jesus in Revelation 22:12 says; *And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.* each person in the lake of fire will receive their punishment based upon the condition of their sin, some will suffer longer than others, but eventually they will be blotted out of existence as well as Satan himself, read these Bible verses: (Malach 4:1,3; Romans 6:23; Isaiah 47:14; Ezekiel 28:13-19; Revelation 20:9; Psalm 68:2; Psalm 37:20).

@@dellarussell2699 None of the scriptures you wrote prove eternal torment at all. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is used by many to try and prove something Jesus never intended to teach. The one thing many people who believe in eternal torment fail to realize is that hell-fire will be kindled on this Earth, right before God renews it. The wicked will be destroyed in this lake of fire called the second death and the Bible tells us that death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Scripture doesn't contradict scripture. By the way, he dealt with the parable of the rich man and Lazarus at 40:26 and explained it's true teaching.

My weener dog Corrinna i lost 3/2/20. I had her 12 years. 17 i think she was. Because of my 2 books that will change the world she was struck dead by a demon in front of my very eyes. Revelation 20:7-9. Satan is released out of his prison and verse 8 he goes out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth to gather them together for battle whose number is like the sand of the sea. Verse 9, fire came down from God and devoured them: (they die and in verse 10 Satan is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (where the beast and false prophet are) and SHALL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER AND EVER. (MARK THAT WORD FOR EVER AND EVER) Verse 11-15 the great white throne. Verse 12 John saw THE DEAD SMALL AND GREAT STAND BEFORE GOD and the books were opened and another book was opened which is the book of life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Verse 13 and the SEA GAVE UP THE DEAD IN IT AND DEATH AND HELL DELIVERED UP THE DEAD IN WHICH WERE IN THEM AND THEY WERE JUDGED EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS. AND DEATH AND HELL WERE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. This is the second death. Verse 15 and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. In the lake of fire, Satan, the beast and false prophet are to be tormented day and night forever and ever and those who were not found written in the book of life were also cast in that same lake of fire. Acts 2:38 says: REPENT AND BE BAPTISED EVERY ONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE RIGHT BAPTISM IS BY IMMERSION IN WATER AND NOT SPRINKLING. Jesus Christ is our example. He was baptised by John the Baptist: dipped in water and don’t say that you were baptised as a child coz that doesn’t count. Children are dedicated to God as Jesus Christ too was dedicated to the father in heaven , when they (children) grow up and accept Jesus Christ and his finished work at the cross (His death, burial and resurrection all done for the atonement for the sins of mankind) then they can be baptised because the Holy scripture states it clear that whoever believes and is baptised shall be saved. A 6 months old doesn’t know anything nor any other young children. The baptism must also be done in the Name of Jesus Christ according to the book of acts 2:38 or in the name of our Lord Jesus. The name of the Father, son and Holyspirit is Jesus Christ. Let me give a human example to illustrate my point. Eg. a husband of someone, who’s also someone ‘s son and father to someone can or may sign a cheque and just put those former three statuses on the part where the name should be written but that cheque won’t be cashed. But if they put their name as Mr. Peter McKenzie with his signature, that cheque will be processed. Christ Jesus said that after preaching to the sinners, baptise them in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit and also said that in John 16:13 that when the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth etc, you’re free to read there, however the disciples didn’t baptise immediately coz Christ Jesus had told them to tarry in prayer until they were filled with the power of God from on high and so on the day of Pentecost, Peter was inspired by the Holy Spirit after many days in prayer with the rest of the disciples and after he had received the Holy Spirit he came and corrected those who heard them speaking in tongues and thought that they were drunk as to what to do (repent) and be baptised in that Name of JESUS CHRIST. I repeat, That’s why he was able to say that repent and be ye baptised every one of you in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins. READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELF AND Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you such that your name is written in the book of life.

Read what Jesus said in Luke 16:19-31 - the selfish rich man went to hell and he was tormented in the flames. He was not immediately burnt up and destroyed. People who reject precious salvation from Jesus will certainly suffer in hell first, lost forever with no hope of being rescued. Eventually, they will be as rubble, annihilated only after justice is done.

John 3:16 is so clear… 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Yet you are willing take ALLL the verses that clearly state the fate of the wicked is to be burned up, perished, consumed, no more, vanished, destroyed, perish and death, and explain that away to mean the exact opposite, that they will in fact live forever, just in a really bad place. The Bible also clearly states to God ALONE belongs immortality, we put it one at Christ's return, and our resurrection, and it's only for the saints, not the wicked. The Bible further states the wages of sin is death (not eternal torture), God is able to destroy both body and soul in Gehenna, and the soul that sins will die. So much for immortal soul like I am sure you have been taught since youth. The fire is eternal and unquenchable, but that has nothing to do with how long it takes to burn something up. The sun will burn for another 4 billion years, but is there any doubt in your mind, that if someone got thrown into it, they would be incinerated immediately, NOT take 4 Billion years, just to be destroyed. Sodom and Gomorrah were burned with eternal fire, but that fire isn't still there to this day. Rather they were burned with the fire of God, who IS an all-consuming fire and He IS obviously eternal. So, if He burns you up with HIS fire, He is consuming you with eternal fire, but that doesn't mean the fire stays right where you are at, or that you continue to burn in it. The same thing with eternal punishment. The wages of sin is death. Although the first death, that we all face, is temporary as we will all be resurrected one day, both the wicked and the righteous. However, the wicked will be thrown into the lake of fire which IS the second death. There is no resurrection from that death. The second death is eternal. This eliminates the idea of universalism, that people fry in the lake of fire until they repent and then get saved. An absurd thought in it's own right, as no conversion would be genuine. ANYONE would repent if they are literally burning alive and will do so UNTIL they repent. But, to remove all doubt, Daniel saying they will be raised to everlasting contempt(God will never relent of his disdain for them and restore them) and that the punishment of death is eternal. No second resurrection.

When A Man chapter 16 the rich man in Hell, in torments. What about Revelation 21:8. And the Great White Throne judgement, where God separates the sheep's from the goats revelation 20:11-15. Jesus talked a lot about Hell, He gave his life, for our sins. People study: the Holy Bible, (King James Version KJV). Do not take the chance with your soul burning in a lake of fire and suffer, it is not worth it.

First resurrection when we believe in Jesus, second resurrection at the last trumpet, we are living the millennium. People who died in Christ will be raised but the others will stay dead and the rest who are not believers will be consumed by fire and will be dead forever. We the believers who are not dead with other believers who were dead and raised from dead will be caught to the sky and live with God forever.

Hello Lindelwa, Some Scriptures to consider… Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Body + Breath of life = living being Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” The body returns to the dust, there is no spirit man. Even though a believer sleeps in death until the resurrection the next conscious thought they have is the resurrection and being present with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. John 4:23-24 God is spirit, and that those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. Are we really doing the right thing ? Because Everything been changed. Sunday worship has pagan roots. It was considered The sun god worship. His name was god Mithrac and he was born on December 25. Sunday was his day of worship. Roman leaders Consintatine in 321AD change the day of rest from Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday. And also needs to be noted, The Roman catholic church sometime between 336AD designated a Feast of the Nativity to be observed. It was a heathen (pagan) celebration of Saturnalia. What we call Christmas. It actually a worship day to the sun god ra, bal, he was known for many names. Also is worshiping on Sunday was considered his day. God teach he never changes. The old testament teaches that. And Jesus (Yeshua) would have observed God Laws not mens. Malachi 3:6, God teaches his people that he does not change. Malachi 3:6, For I Lord (Yahweh) Do not Change. What Yahweh hates He will always hate. What Yahweh likes. He will always like. Deuteronomy 12:4 You must not Worship the Lord. (Yahweh) Your God, in their way. John 5:3 For this is the Love of God (Yahweh) that we keep his Commandments and his commandments are not burdensome. Really thing about it ... The 1st Law Jesus (Yeshua) gave us to observe, was to Love God. Well the first 4 Commandments are all about God and loving God and learning what he likes and doesn't. And honering God. The Sabbath, the true day of rest. (Honer the Sabbath, 7 day of the week). 2. To Love Jesus Yeshua. He said if you love me, you would love eachother and help one another. He said if you help the least amongst you, is like if you help me. (Jesus, Yeshua.) The other 6 Commandments are all about not hurting each other and respecting one another and our parents. And parents be good parents, kind heart and love. If you think about it. If you love one another you would not commit any of the 6 Commandments left. Think about it. You would and are a good person, kind hearted and full of hope and love. And spread the message because you wants everyone to feel the same. And if you want to learn more about the true Feast of the Lord. Read Leviticus 23. This world would be a better place to live in. We would not have evil as it is now.

"Saturday" according to our current day Gregorian calendar is not the correct day for sabbath either... This calendar came out in 1582, changing the previous way of calculating days/weeks/years. If someone wants to keep the "sabbath day", I am all for it. But if someone is going to insist it is absolutely necessary... current day Saturday according to the Gregorian calendar is not the correct day. The Bible states how to correctly calculate new days/weeks/months etc... and it was based off of the solar/lunar calendar. Our "saturday" does not line up with solar/lunar calendar version of how the "7th day" is calculated in scripture.

I've seen several of these videos & while I'm not a pretribber at all, I also can't find some of this teaching in the bible either. In biblical prophecy, 1000 years= forever, it is symbolic language. All judgement is on the Day of the Lord, which is at the 2nd coming. I like this pastor, I'm just unable to reconcile much of this teaching. Am I missing someing??

The lake of fire symbolizes total destruction. The Devil is a spirit creature, therefore literal fire couldn’t harm him. Death is a state of inactivity and cannot be harmed either. This lake signifies eternal destruction. Torment in the Bible can also mean restraint. Four reasons why this torment is not literal: 1) For the Devil to be tortured forever, he would have to be kept alive forever. However, the Bible says he will be brought to nothing, or put out of existence. (Hebrews 2:14) 2) Everlasting life is a gift from God, not punishment. I challenge you to throw water onto the sun and see how that works out. but regardless, Lazarus was there and the (herein KZbin) speaker conveniently left out the word _chasm_ in his narrative to conveniently force his ideology of annihilationism to work. Also left out the reply to Lazarus - if they wont listen to Moses they wont listen to us. To start off I'm not a troll but I disagree with what he taught about this. I never heard him talk about the rich man when he looked up and asked for water to cool his tongue because he was tortured in the fire, also I didn't hear him talk about the bible explaining that death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire and there will be no rest day or night for all eternity. I might be wrong but I think he believes in annihilation. Some people can use some verses out the bible and twist it into something else. Why would God resurrect the lost, give them life, only to judge them, and annihilate them? If there was no chance of correction/repentance/purification, you'd think a loving God would just leave the lost dead. What's the point? Usually judgment is for correction.
