I completely agree with Pastor Thomas, if we truly believe in Jesus, the sadness of death is greatly different if we know that person is saved. I have a hard time being terribly sad when a Believer dies because I am overjoyed for them. And I'm deeply troubled every time a non-Believer dies because I know they are lost forever. Eternally lost in sin is the most dreadful thing imaginable. Thank you for such an encouraging message for our times. Maranatha!

Iam a Indian Christian. I have a word to say about Hinduism. In hinduism there is not a word of salvation.. It's all based on good deeds in this life. If yourdeeds are not uptothe standards ofGods, then you take a rebirth as a monkey or a donkey . Now after beingborn as donkey, how can a donkey dogood deeds that are appreciat ed by Godin order to attain abetter life form. This cycle of rebirth has no end, which looked too absurd for me. Then I found a chance for a sinner to save himself, by repentance and acceptance Jesus as personal saviour. Thats why I converted to Christianity and now I sure, that salvation through jesus Christ, is a gift of God.

Job just wanted to know what he did wrong, not all that other stuff. God loved what Job said because he was a man who was perfect and upright as God said more than once. When Job was shown a whole new side of God in their discourse, he loved God even more. God was not berating Job; He was rewarding him. Two of mankind’s greatest sins are self-centeredness and lack of humility. It’s something we are all guilty of to varying degrees. When you are seeking God you must recognize your place before God. We are egregiously sinful people. We don’t make demands of God nor grow frustrated when we can’t figure Him out. What we do is continually go to Him in humble, respectful prayer, pleading for mercy and forgiveness, asking that He would open our ears to the truth of His word, soften our hardened hearts to accept what we hear, and loosen our stiff necks to do as He says. It is unlikely that you will hear from God in a way that you are anticipating. You may ask for a specific solution to your problem whereas God’s answer may be something much larger and broader. John 6:65-69 “Then Jesus said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him.” From that time on many of His disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him. So Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to leave too?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that You are the Holy One of God.” If you truly want an answer from God, you have no choice but to seek Him through the Holy Bible. If you walk away, you are on your own - you most assuredly will not get Gods help. So your challenge is to be humble and listen carefully for God. By the time you read this I will have said a prayer for you.

​@@peregrino9154 It's not sovereignty that people hate. It's sovereignty that manifests itself as control and determinism. God is indeed sovereign but it operates through love because God is Love. I suggest reading St Athanasius book 'On the Incarnation' which is free on the Internet or from Amazon. He was an early Church who was instrumental in putting together the New Testament Canon. In it you see a sovereignty that is both total and beautiful. Blessings to all.

Why does Calvinist believe in repentance but only certain people will be saved? Isn’t that a form of judgement on their part? Can’t any person receive Jesus Christ as their savior, be reborn and repent? Change of mind can be as simple as changing the mind of belief. Our behavior or walk in Christ after we have received Christ is the baby steps we take when reborn and grow closer to Christ. I’m very confused on why Calvinist focus on the elect rather than encourage others to receive Christ. Yes, God knows everything and he knows whom will be saved and who will not. But if he is patient as you say, he is patient for some to repent? Don’t get me wrong, I never question the creator of the universe and us humans for his purpose but I question why certain teachers of the doctrine don’t breach the sinners prayer to lead them to salvation or the Great Commission commanded to us Christian’s which is to spread the gospel and teach or lead ppl to Christ. The patience of Christ may be that he’s waiting for just that, the great commission. My point, you not I can or never will know whom is predestined until we followers approach that persons heart by any means necessary. Tv, phone, in person, etc… Why the focus on elect as if you are the chosen elect? I have watched many of these videos and get confused on your intentions to lead any person that needs to be to Christ. Who is the author of confusion? Should I be confused or should your message be simple? I feel you are discouraging men and women to repent because the seed you are planting is the seed of doubt. I doubt I am predestined because of the sin I had in my life?? Hmmm! But only God knows if I was predestined to repent. The elect only matters to God. The elect in the Bible refers to those left behind after the rapture that were predestined to stay behind, change their mind and spread the message of anti christ existence and that he is not Jesus. The elect 144,000 Jews. I’ve read about the elect and that is the only doctrine that discusses the elect after the rapture. If you’re stand is that we are in the days of the elect then the rapture would have taken place already, correct. I don’t know why Calvinist believe and stress mainly on the elect but I do believe their theology is incorrect. Salvation is a gift, it’s simple and made available to all that they may not perish. It’s not up to us to determine whom the predestined are, it’s up to us to begin the great commission and share the straight gospel of Jesus Christ our savior from eternal damnation. At first site when I was watching your teaching, I thought finally sound doctrine, which I believe you do for the most part but you are not keeping the main thing the main thing! I do doubt that some of the very wealthy false teachers on msm are not using the sinners prayer in correct context but I am deeply concerned that you are not using the sinners prayer to lead ppl to Christ. Why aren’t you? Answer that very simple question to change my mind about your teaching. Salvation is simple and a sinners prayer leads to a reborn soul. That’s how I learned that I was predestined and to this day I believe that the sinners prayer sealed the Holy Spirit in my heart for eternity. It can never be taken away. If it could it would be like Jesus saying, oh, I just wanted to tease you and bounce in and out of your heart! Blasphemy! Once a person speaks to Jesus Christ and humbly admits he is a sinner and believes Jesus is the son of God in the flesh whom was sent to this earth to give us hope and shed his blood on Calvary to wash away my sins. The atonement for my sins. I will always by imperfect and be a sinner saved by the grace of God. I just hope ppl don’t get discouraged by your teaching and lose hope or their faith. Faith is a substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen. I have faith and assurance based on the living word of God… the KJV Bible doctrine. The holy spirit that lives within me is much stronger than the spirit of your doubt. Amen!

2 Timothy ch 2 would be a good read to help with your comment. Great concern an most people don’t understand or come to the LORD because they don’t understand. God may or not tarry for the sake of that one single last person God know when that will happen. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬

I hear people use the term Calvinist; but when I ask a person who uses the term Calvinist.. can’t get a simple answer, so that tells me it’s nothing to be concerned about, because the word of God is not complicated to me. Just wonder why people are trying to make it complicated. Are Calvinist Christians? Why are they called Calvinist instead of Christians? Do they live by the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Anyway, Thanks.❤️
