Really? Did you read that in the scriptures? Search the scriptures and you'll see what it says of the dead. Jesus told the Sadducees that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and that He's God of the living not the dead. Thus Abraham's soul lives after death. Mark 12:27 Jesus told of a rich young ruler in hell and Lazarus is Abraham's bosom after death. There was interaction between the two. This is evidence the soul is alive (aware) after death. Like 16:19-31 Elijah was taken up in chariots of fire. But to where? To heaven or to the grave? 2 Kings 2:11-12 says Elijah was taken up to heaven in the chariots of fire. Thus evidence that saints are present before God after death. Even Paul the apostle says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. 2 Cor 5:8 Moses and Elijah visited Jesus at the mount of transfiguration. How so if the soul remains dead in the grave until the resurrection?

Turn back to receiving My Body and Blood. Let Me remove your doubts. This is one of the biggest mistakes Christians have made, by denying Me entry to their souls in this way. It greatly offends My Eternal Father because of the Sacrifice involved to save your souls. Let Me bring Light and nourishment into your lives. You will be more inclined to accept the Truth of My Teaching after The Warning takes place. The blood and body are symbolic emblems, they are not actual blood and body of Christ, that would be CANNIBALISM. Moses body was wrestled from the enemy and claimed by Jesus and Elijah was carried to heaven by a chariot of fire - these two are perhaps in my humble opinion two of the most important prophets of God who I believe are in heaven with our Lord. And one could argue John the Baptist, the greatest prophet, as well as John the Beloved, and of course all of the Apostles and then there is Mary and Mary and possibly Lazarus and the thief on the cross, God’s mysteries are amazing, I believe the average wretch like myself if not found worthy of grace to withstand in these final days than I too will return to dust but I will give my entire being, my life, my heart, my soul, to ensuring I die in Christ Jesus. There are ten accounts of people being brought back from the dead in the Bible, so where did those souls come back from since the soul doesn't exist anymore after death, the Bible says man became a living soul Gen 2;7, so, if only the Spirit leaves the body and goes back to God then does the soul stay on earth sleeping in a decaying body? I attempted suicide in 1976 believing I would wake up in the arms of Jesus in Heaven, far from all my earthly trouble. This lie has deadly consequences, as if life weren't deadly enough. I woke up in an ICU where I was ridiculed by a nurse for my action. Bad, but not as bad as the 'out of body' experience I had while unconscious. What about Luke 23;43, And Jesus said, unto him (the thief) verily, verily, I say unto thee "today" you will be with me in paradise. This tells me that the thief went into heaven the same day Jesus did before his resurrection. Duet 34:5-7 God buried Mose himself in the Moab, according to this pastor is saying Moses should still be there waiting to be resurrected, however, in Mark 9;4 when Jesus was praying Elisha and Moses "appeared" and spoke with him. My question to this pastor is since Moses was buried on earth and went back to the dust Gen 3;19 how is it that he came back and "appeared" with Elisa and spoke with Jesus before the resurrection since he died and was buried like the everyone else? Then we have Enoch and Elisa who never died but were taken into heaven before the death and resurrection of Christ. Why didn't this address that?

Come on Julie, I implore you to do a more careful study of the Word, this man only uses Old Testament scriptures quoting a different time before Jesus Christ came. We believers are on the other side of the cross where things are radically different. Look at Paul and Stephen’s words. Here is an interesting one: “and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭NLT‬‬ And Eph 4:8 says when he ascended he led captives...where to? What do you say?

What about Enoch, and Elisa they didn't die they were taken directly into heaven?... In Duet 34;5-7 it is written that Moses died and God himself buried him, however, In Mark 34;5-7 Elisa and Moses "appeared" and were talking with Jesus. I have to ask, since as this pastor says, everybody dead, buried, or cremated is still here in the grave and waiting on the resurrection how is it that Moses who died and is buried in Moab (Duet 34;5-7) come back and speak with Jesus before the resurrection? I have read the verse this pastor presented, but I take account of Mark 34;5-7, shouldn't Moses be still in Moab waiting on the resurrection with the rest of us as this pastor says everybody dead and buried are still here?

B. Barbin, You do know that, for the child of God, every day is the sabbath? Have you ceased from your works of the flesh? Have you died to sin? Is the life you now live, the risen life of Christ? Who is on the throne of your heart, Christ or you? If it is Christ, then you are indeed living in God’s happy sabbath kingdom. But, if you are clinging to the works of the Mosaic law, you have not entered into the rest of Christ.

John 20:17. We find that on resurrection morning Jesus still had not returned to His Father in Heaven, Paradise. So how could where the coma is in Luke 23:43 make sense with John 20:17. Put the coma after the word today, instead of after the word you, and the text will make sense with the rest of scripture. We remember in the original manuscript there was not punctuation as we see in the English translation.

I've had the argument with my very religious family that it's not biblical to say that our dead relatives are looking down on us from heaven, and I just get the, "you're not reading it right" or "you're taking it out of context" crap. To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. I drowned when I was 5 yrs. I immediately saw the Lord and so many people that I didn't recognize. They were warm & loving as if they were all my family. This pastor may believe that where I went wasn't heaven. However it didn't matter to me...to be present with the Lord was heavenly for me. ❤️🙏

I too had an experience when I was critically ill, where I “heard” Jesus say to me that I had a choice to stay (with my small children & in pain), or to come to a better place. Years later, I began studying the Bible and I learned that I had actually been deceived. Even though ALL my senses at the time were telling me that what I had seen and heard was the “truth”, I made the decision to believe God’s Word rather than my feelings. I am so thankful He showed me the truth in His word. Jesus was serious when He said in Luke 21:8 ‘Take heed that ye be not deceived’. The devil has ways of deceiving us when we are critically ill. Was Paul LYING when he told us that to be present in the body was for our benefit because to be absent from the body was to be PRESENT with the LORD? Never ever think that just because of orthodoxy, you right. I attended a prophecy seminar that Mark Fox was leading. That was over six years ago. I learned so much, and I left my orthodox church behind because they were not teaching the Bible. I had stumbled on several issues of scriptures that didn’t line up. Like Doug Batchelor has stated I for the first time truly believe that I’m in the right church setting. I yielded to the Holy Spirit and became an Adventist. Ok, I heard what this pastor has said and I read the verses he presented, however, when I read Rev 6;9-11 where John wrote when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained; I can't help but wonder where did those people come from since as this pastor said everybody that has died, been killed and buried or cremated are still in the grave waiting on the resurrection? How could John have seen them in heaven if no one is in heaven yet?

Tom, I implore you to do a more careful study of the Word, this man only uses Old Testament scriptures quoting a different time before Jesus Christ came. We believers are on the other side of the cross where things are radically different. Look at Paul and Stephen’s words. Here is an interesting one: “and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭NLT‬‬ And Eph 4:8 says when he ascended he led captives...where to? What do you say?

And why didn’t Jesus, in John 14:2, 3, say to His disciples that He will see them in Heaven when they die? He instead told them that He will return and THEN take them “to Himself” (to Heaven). The comma in Luke 23:43, has been put in the wrong place. The comma should have been put AFTER the word “today.” Mathew 16:27-notice the word “THEN.” Luke 14:13, 14 Revelation 22:12 Etc., etc., etc. Question: Can an electric lamp give any light when it is disconnected from the source of electrical power? Of course it cannot. So can a lost (unsaved) person live forever (in “hell”) when they have cut themselves from the ONLY Source of Life? Hmmm? The “immortal soul” doctrine and the doctrine of eternal life for the lost (in the so-called “hell”) is WRONG! It is UNBIBLICAL and also ILLOGICAL. Have you ever read what is written in 1. John 5:12? Notice the phrase “have NO life”? How can those who cut themselves from the Source of life have any life? The opposite of life is DEATH-as clearly stated in Romans 6:23-and also in Ezekiel 18:4 , 23, 31, 32. When God breathed into Adams nostrils, he became a living soul or person, he was not given a Soul. I've always understood this concept. That when you die you transition to heaven or hell but not immediately. It is difficult to understand but somehow we 'wait' for the resurrection and the judgment before we go to Hell or Heaven. During that period we are Not aware of anything. When we die time is no longer passing for us because we are no longer subject to the laws of time and space that govern the universe that the Lord made. So I imagine that when we pass away... for the Dead it will be judgement day but for the living we are going through time here with everyone else who is living. It is true that the dead are not judged yet. The earth has not passed away and Judgment is still coming.

I implore you to do a more careful study of the Word, this man only uses Old Testament scriptures quoting a different time before Jesus Christ came. We believers are on the other side of the cross where things are radically different. Look at Paul and Stephen’s words. Here is an interesting one: “and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭NLT‬‬ And Eph 4:8 says when he ascended he led captives...where to? What do you say?

I appreciate your teaching Sir. In respect, I offer how does one resolve the following scriptures: 1. John in Rev 4:1 Clearly depicts a vision of the heavenly scenery. Then in Rev. 6:9 at the opening of the 5th seal, John saw the "souls" of the martyrs under the altar (which is in heven). 2. Luke 23:43 - Jesus on the cross says to one of those on the cross, Today you shall be with me in paradise. 3. The Apostle Paul in his letter to the church of Philipi was caught between a desire and an obligation says in Philippiams 1:20-23. He saw a need to reside in the flesh (physically alive and present) for the benefits of maturing the saints; but also noted the other choice was to die and be with Christ Jesus). 4. 2 Corin 5:6-9 - Absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Since when was Saul of Tarsus a apostle of Yeshuah? Didn’t James refuse Sauls gift offering because he was teaching things contrary to the gospel? I feel so sorry for the misguided but who can dispute the Gospel of the Holy Twelve and Four Gospels? After all do they not line up with the teachings of the Old Testament so who is Saul to teach the law being hung on the cross and just processing the name of Jesus and believing in your heart Jesus was crucified and died for your sins that you shall be saved, Did the one you call Nesus teach that? In Paul's (formerly Saul) letter to the believers in Galatia (chapters 1 and 2) Paul states that he visited Peter (stayed 15 days) and James also (Gal 1:18-19). Then 14 years later went to Jerusalem where he met with Peter, James and John (2:1-10), and these elders (apostles) gave the right had of fellowship to Paul after hearing what he preached - taught. They would never have done that if he was teaching anything contrary to what they had received from Jesus. Paul was fully accepted by "The Twelve" as an apostle of Jesus Christ. In Peter's 2nd letter once again we read of Peter acknowledging Paul's genuine apostleship to Jesus Christ.

@@3abn It is clear from the full spectrum of Scripture that man is a spiritual being in a physical mortal body. The body is subject to death on earth owing to Adam's transgression in Eden. Some verses don't show that detail, others do. But remember, the apostles didn't put the verse or chapter divisions. Each book is meant to be read like a letter, not a fictional novel. The Bible is ONE COMPOSITE MESSAGE. Don't get confused by the word "sleep" in passages relating to the body having died, and assume that the soul sleeps in the grave.

One can only imagine what it would be like attempting to keep this ordinance in Alaska or Siberia. The Sabbath Terminated The Scriptures are emphatic that the requirement to keep the Sabbath has been terminated. New Testament data lead to the conclusion that the law of Moses (with all of its components - including the Sabbath) has been abrogated. Paul affirmed that the “law of commandments” was abolished “through the cross” (Eph. 2:14ff). Similarly, the “bond written in ordinances” (which contained such things as feast days, sabbaths, etc.) was taken out of the way, having been nailed to the cross (Col. 2:14-16). Sabbatarians allege, however, that only the ceremonial features (e.g., animal sacrifices) of the Mosaic covenant were abolished at the cross. The moral elements of the law (e.g., the ten commandments), it is argued, continue to this very day. This position is arbitrary, artificial, and will not stand the test of scripture. Observe the following. A new covenant God promised to make a new covenant, which would not be like the one given to Israel when the nation left Egypt (Jer. 31:31ff). When that new covenant was given, a change in laws was made (Heb. 7:12). But the old law, bestowed when Israel came out of Egyptian bondage, contained the ten commandments (1 Kgs. 8:9,21). Thus, the decalogue passed away when the Old Testament was replaced by the New. Dead to the law In Romans 7, the apostle argued that the Christian is “dead to the law through the body of Christ” (4). He further contended that the child of God is “discharged from the law” (6). Well, exactly what “law” was in view? Merely a “ceremonial” law? No, that is not the case, for subsequently Paul says: “[F]or I had not known coveting, except the law had said, ‘You shall not covet’” (vs. 7; cf. Ex. 20:17). Clearly, the law to which the Christian is “dead,” i.e., separated from, and from which he is “discharged,” included the ten commandments. The Christian is not under obligation to keep the Sabbath. The fact is, just after he affirmed that the law was “nailed to the cross,” Paul declared that no one could “judge,” i.e., condemn (cf. Sunday is the first day of the week , it is the day the Lord was raised from the dead, that is why it is refered to as the Lord's day. After the ressurrection of Jesus, the apostles met on the "Lord's day" but the Jewish Sabbath still has value, it is a sign between God and the Jewish people. They are commanded to keep it as a sign. Exo 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Consider these scriptural texts... Jesus told the Sadducees that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and that He's God of the living not the dead. Thus Abraham's soul lives after death. Mark 12:27 Jesus told of a rich young ruler in hell and Lazarus is Abraham's bosom after death. There was interaction between the two. This is evidence the soul is alive (aware) after death. Like 16:19-31 Elijah was taken up in chariots of fire. But to where? To heaven or to the grave? 2 Kings 2:11-12 says Elijah was taken up to heaven in the chariots of fire. Thus evidence that saints are present before God after death. Even Paul the apostle says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. 2 Cor 5:8 Moses and Elijah visited Jesus at the mount of transfiguration. How so if the soul remains dead in the grave until the resurrection?

I am bilingual Spanish-English, I remember saying to God: "You brought me here to a place that nobody understand me and I do not understand nobody, so "open" my mind to understand English" - I found a tiny book called Basic English by the Cambridge University written by Dr. Ghio, it has just 13 lessons like the Sabbath School lessons and promises that the book will teach me 900 words that will allow me to master 22,000 words, so I believed it and I started, then I discovered that the dead language of Latin that I mastered in the equivalent of college back in my country will open my understanding of the English estructure, and without ever going to school for English I learned to read and write, but my ears required almost two years of learning to listen sounds and discriminate letters, vowels and accents, and I grow, and grow in the language until one day I found a side by side bilingual Bible, KJV VERSUS REINA VALERA, and see the word: LAWLESSNESS, LAW=LEY, LESS=MINUS, WITHOUT=SIN, NESS=state, condition, quality (convert an adjective in a noun) SIN LEY=LIBERTINAJE, BUT IN Spanish is translated: Y entonces les protestaré: Nunca os conocí; apartaos de mí, obradores de maldad. Mateo:7:23 "obradores de maldad"=doers of evil, but does not convey that it is to live without God's Laws , so putting both translations together I have this: "lawlessness is to do evil deeds, evil deeds is result of living without GOD'S LAWS.

Yes I do have the Holy Spirit, and God is my Father as well His Son Jesus Christ my Savior. I am confident about what Scripture has revealed to me and it is by God’s Spirt that my understanding is enlightened. I once believe the lie but after many painstaking hours on my knees asking for revelation God gave me understanding that my former ignorance and blindness did not enable me to see. So regardless to if someone believes I have the Spirit of God or not is not for them to determine. Satin is not my father he is the father of lies and I reject anything he has to say. Only the body dies but the Spirit and soul are eternal the soul does not stay in the grave. When Jesus was on the cross he told the thief he would be in paradise "today" with him Luke 23;43. Rev 6;9-1. I saw under the altar (in heaven) the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they maintained; if when we die our souls stay in the grave until the resurrection, how is it that those souls are in heaven? Duet 34;5-7, Moses was buried in Moab by the hand of God, but in Mark 9:4 he "appeared" with Elisa (who never die btw) and spoke with Jesus; My question to this pastor is since we die and we stay in the grave until the resurrection how is it that Moses could come back from heaven and accompany Elisa, shouldn't he still be in the grave waiting on the resurrection? I read the verse that was presented, however, this pastor didn't address the other verse that clearly suggests that when we die only our body stays in the grave but our spirit and soul return to God and await the resurrection of the body.

David's tormentor Saul, went to a witch that called Samuel back from death, he asked Saul, why have you disturbed my rest? David mentioned the "world of the dead" many times? I agree the "body" turns back to dust, but the "spirit" doesn't turn into dust, that "breath" from God never dies.

yeah, good luck. what the man is preaching about is the BIG LIE! Remember Jesus' story about the rich man and Lazarus? The moment the rich man died he was in torment in hell in the flames and knew his 5 brothers were still up on earth needing warned to repent. This is impossible unless a person goes to hell immediately upon dying. Otherwise, you believe Jesus was telling a story that was actually based upon a lie?

@@timgish4888 Especially from the book of Ecclesiastes, which many cults like to use. They do not understand most of the observations of the writer are from the aspect of mans view not Gods! Even verse two of chapter one starts "Vanity of vanities all is vanity"could be applied as God made a mistake. Should we follow a lot of the writer observation we would contradict many of New Testament teachings. Note key words " Under the sun = mans view! Read and compare!

I implore you to do a more careful study of the Word, this man only uses Old Testament scriptures quoting a different time before Jesus Christ came. We believers are on the other side of the cross where things are radically different. Look at Paul and Stephen’s words. Here is an interesting one: “and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭NLT‬‬ And Eph 4:8 says when he ascended he led captives...where to? What do you say? About rapture it is the resurrection of physical bodies in the grave being united with the spirits that will come with the Lord while our bodies are changed...read 1 Thess 4 on that
