Sadly this is the wrong way. From the very start the recording of the prayer. Matthew 6:5,6 summary don't pray as the hypocrites do for they like to be in the synagogues and streets to be seen by men. But when you pray go into your private room and shut the door and pray in secret. Thank you, Pastor Lomacang for your sermon. To avoid being on the wrong side of the third Angel’s message, we must be aware of the underlying issues that will aid in the fulfillment of that. Meaning, there are “Christians” that are saying we have to turn this nation back to God. That sounds all well and good, however, how do you turn a whole nation back to God? You eventually make laws. Whose God will it be? Whose Religion will it be? There are “Christians” that advocate for Christian Nationalism. (Again, whose God? Which religion?) And they are in the government. The third Angel’s message is all about the mark of the beast. I don’t believe it was ever God’s intention that His people demand what everyone else has to do. We are His representatives, not his Morality Police. We love people into the fold, we don’t demand that they enter. We show them God’s warnings in the Bible. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we must pay attention and avoid finding ourselves on the wrong side without intending to. When a leader in the legislative branch of government says that the church is supposed to tell the government what to do, recognize the danger of that. Just as dangerous as the government telling the church what to do. (Same coin, different sides.) God bless you all. 🙏

Yes, indeed. Every teaching given in Scripture is for our edification, instruction and warning. We are to take them ALL to heart and to align our lives by them. No one who knowingly rebels against God's expressed will, no matter how insignificant it may seem to them, will go to heaven. That's how serious it is. The mighty men of earth are used to having their way here but as sin's affliction will not rise up again, they, their money, their influence and authority and pride will be stripped from them and they will be destroyed forever. So sad, but so true.
