Agreed, I love and appreciate the way she challenges such overlooked topics. Even though this is no where near how I lived my young life, this affects us all. These kids come into contact with our kids and their influence is powerful. The more this is discussed, the more positive changes will be made.

@brandyyolidio4213 I couldn't agree more. These issues are REAL even if we dont want them to be. Talking about taboo subjects brings them out of the darkness and into the light. This is the only way we can start addressing and fixing these issues that affect all of us.

@@bbe3034these children are snatched from the bus stop, from parks or the child may hv had a disagreement with their parent. From 11-18 kids are experiencing hormones for the 1st time. They feel grown. Mom & dad see them as children. A power struggle ensues, the child leaves. A predator is waiting. Boys are often overlooked. I was as protective with my son as I was my 2 daughters. I was a single mom but a very alert. I had income from ss befits from their dads death. Fortunately I was able to find jobs that allowed me to be home when the bus dropped my children off. Most single parents don't hv a choice.

It’s the predatory nature that makes them frown at this particular abuse… being talked of and wanting it to be minimized. Millions literally think from the day we were born this is what we as mostly girls are to do if not some of form of mistreatment for us that they think is ok. Wanting and needing a young girl/woman to needing them solely to depend on them to near destruction in silence.

I’m a survivor of human trafficking. This is so true. I was tortured! Rule #1: You must cross the street when you come in contact with another P, never EVER make eye contact with another P. *if you do that’s considered outta pocket & he can break you (take ALL your money) worse is the embarrassment you’ve brought upon your folks (a Pimp & your wife-in-law (( other girls in the stable))are called Folks) Rule #2: Walk against traffic on the track; that way you can make eye contact & be aware of your surroundings. Rule #3: Break yourself after every buck (100); in case your robbed your not taken of all your money because you are still responsible for that money therefore robbery & rape are no excuse for you not to have made your quota. Rule #4: Never hang out with the other girls unless you’re trying to bring them home. Rule #5: Your folks laws are supreme never to be questioned or broken. Those are just the top 5 crash course. Dang this brought me PTSD time to watch baby animals.

It's even more frightening that judges now allow this to go on. The justice system in the usa only punishes a victim to speaking up. Took me 22 years and many attempts. But going no contact was rhe real only way to some sense if safety. 😊 jail is safe to them. They don't get punished or beaten raped trafficked. It's sad what these girls still go though. Many end up addicted with a substance or more and are co druggie partners but when one wants to get sober it's like war was wahed

So sad. Family isn't always the safest. So glad she got away from that and is safe! The sadness for me was the young girl blaming herself by justifying the trauma and her saying she, "could get up from the beating." The mental trauma and manipulatation is crazy.

There are many women who did have the means to have kids. And due to divorce, illness, genetic mental issues of the child or parent can all bring ppl to entirely new worlds they never anticipated. My ex became abusive, turned our kids against me. One fled and said she never wanted to see him again. My son identified with him and became abusive to his twin sister. As a single mom, I’m doing my best. It’s never enough. A broken child 😢. I’m crying. A weak pathetic person can wreak havoc.
