Other Home Assistant Add-Ons are available and maybe downgraded in the same way.

Thanks for that. Note I had to do a full HA restart (reboot) for it to show up in local Addons. Many thanks!

Very informative, great to know that when I migrate from docker to HA OS that these ESP-home can still be downgraded.

Yes, exactly - It's always best to have the option.

I tried adding the zigbee2mqtt addon to the config folder, but it never shows up in the store. Tried restarting, force refreshing browser, switching to another browser, restarting VM. Another solution would be to download a backup of the addon, uncompress, modify version numbers in the json files, recompress, upload, and restore the backup. I wasn't able to get this to work on Windows, get a 400 error when reuploading.

I had to reboot the server too to let it appear as local install. Q: After installation, can the files in de addons be deleted?
@3ATIVE4 ай бұрын
@@geeforce7443 Sorry, I don't know what "de addons" is. - is that German? 😆

@@3ATIVE Sorry it's Dutch btw. I meant: Can I delete the uploaded files in the addons folder after installing older version?
@3ATIVE3 ай бұрын
@@geeforce7443 LOL Sorry, I didn't mean to Troll you. If you are talking about the files in: config>esphome folder... then NO Keep them, those are your ESPHome YAML files - Every version of ESPHome uses them.

Hi, what is the name of the editor you are using.

Hi, I use Adobe Premier Pro

@@3ATIVE No, I mean the home assistant file explorer that you use to copy the contents of the zip folder to the add-on folder

@@chrisvanoost3514 OIC LOL Sorry... That is the 'Samba Share' Add-on (I did mention that in the video 01:10). It shares the Home Assistant Config folder as a Network (SMB) share, making it bowser-able like any other Share on the Network.
@chrisvanoost35147 ай бұрын
thanks, you actually mentioned it in the video, but I couldn't catch the name.
