Here is an idea how to improve your turing tests: make the game pause when the player made a decision, let them talk about why they have choosen their choice. If you just keep giving the answer directly it feels rushed and the player doesn't even have time to face the camera! We were jumping through the questions with a few 'thats great' inbetween. But your viewers may not have any idea about who 3down1eye is or what are his videos. They want to talk about their choices but then the game just keeps going.

5:36 I knew this one because I am (at least partially) responsible for the title. Foxy Well they're sort of Turing testing his AI by seeing whether grant can discern between human generated titles and the AI's output. haven't looked up the definition of a Turing test, but I'm sure this isn't that far off
@1996Pinocchio6 жыл бұрын
A turing test is a conversation between a human being and an AI (chatbot?). If humans can't tell whether they are talking to a human or a robot, the robot has succeded the test.
@YahiaDesigner6 жыл бұрын
I know what a Turing test is. It has nothing to do with the video. You might as well say conv neural nets have passed the Turing test by identifying objects in the same way that humans do. Just because a machine is indistinguishable from a human at a certain task, doesn't mean that it passed the Turing test. The Turing test is a natural language problem.

Awesome too see Grant on this! As constructive criticism, perhaps remove the timer altogether on future videos. Before I even watch this I wanted to comment because I was just talking about this with a friend of mine. Things to encompass areas of the turning test. So the first hearing of the turning test was during the watching of Ex Machina, which if you ever watch is a paranoia trip where the human ends up thinking hes the robot at some point and starts dissecting his arm to find hes, human. But things that should be involved I think. Spontaneous emotional feedback, ie a joke or something. Affection both physical and attachment. Will the machine miss or long for longtime relationships? If the machine is calculated enough, perhaps it will think it self flawed, be inspired for self forgiveness and a move toward compassion. I feel like compassion and tolerance are probably important programming. Things we take for granted, inherited from our Genes by way of our parents.
