Thank god for the remake Nightmare (no one can replace Robert) Sad for Friday The 13th (which I always consider them actually sequels) RIP for the rest, but THANK GOD that Stephen is rebooting his own stories (hopefully) it’s great to know that more King stories can get the IT treatment with a higher budget and better quality (depending on who you ask) Terminator kinda should stop for now, take a break, and maybe wait for 2025 effects before continuing Predator and Alien deserves to be given back to the originals, we don’t want a DISNEY type version, but as long as Disney can make a quality, not PG, version then I guess Nightmare is like Back To The Future, it doesn’t need a reboot or sequel, but unlike Back To The Future, Nightmare can work with a sequel or reboot, but like I said you just gotta do it right

-As desperate as I am for Friday the 13th Part 13 I'm happy to wait longer if it means the film is gonna end up being good. Having it set in winter would've been nice though. -Potentially no more Terminator sequels? Thank God. The franchise is a dead horse that studios have been beating for the last 28 years and the sooner it's put to rest the better. -Alien and Predator reboots? Surely they can't come out with something worse than The Predator so i'm interested. -Die Hard reboot/prequel/sequel? Same as Terminator really, the franchise peaked decades ago and at this point letting it die (hard) seems like the best option. -That Nightmare on Elm Street reboot sounded kinda nice but as you said, with how easily they gave up the rights it really seems like they didn't care for the franchise at all, so having it back in the hands of Wes Craven's estate seems like the best outcome. Seeing so many classic franchises be desecrated over the years really makes me appreciate Robert Zemeckis' stance on Back to the Future sequels.

Just watched the original Pet Semetary the other day. Man, that movie is an emotional roller coaster that hits you hard. The set design, makeup, atmosphere and acting were all perfect. Build on character development with an interesting and unique story, eliminate over elaborate special effects and you're on to a winner.
@Joker-qr5se5 жыл бұрын
@@tommydarko1984 couldn't agree more. Reboots always turn out to be trash because they stray to far from what made the original such a classic. They Live for example. Great movie.
