As a Welsh man i can honestly say the tail is left on so we have something to clean ourselves with once we have finished. Another interesting fact you will see that some sheep have been spray painted with markings, they are the one's who are not virgins and the paint is to indicate to the farmer that they are the one's to be exported to England for the English to eat. Not many people know that !

Hello, lovely girls, thank you for showing us here in Australia, some of Wales. Can I say that we are very proud of your common sense? My husband is an Australian semi driver and he is essential-food- so he has, in his 40 odd years, driven through fires, floods, major accidents etc. You did not have to show how big your appendages are and knew that you were not prepared for a snow-in. People in Australia have died in their vehicles in the heat and in the snow. You have nothing to prove. You are both intrepid explorers who take care of yourselves and your four legged children. Love the video and thank you for bringing us such brilliant content. Take care, girls. Cheers

You will probably regret the sheep question after learning the reason for long/short tails. Lowland sheep live on lush pastures that can have unfortunate consequences for the digestive system, resulting in some rather messy backsides. A certain kind of fly delights in laying eggs in the soiled wool. Maggots result and literally eat the poor sheep alive. Removing the tail makes less real estate for the maggots to hide and less area to become messy. In theory, the flies are less active at higher altitudes, the quality of grass is poorer and less likely to cause stomach upsets, and the tails provide protection from the atrocious welsh wind and rain. You did ask!

We did ask and yeah I do regret asking 🤣 but it is good to know to be fair

We say that about English!! Haha! TANTRUM ALERT!! 90% of the English names for places in Wales are Anglicised versions of the Welsh name but a lot of Welsh placenames are getting replaced by English names that have no relation to the original Welsh near me there is a lake called Llyn Bochlwyd meaning Lake of the White Cheek Stage which tells the tale of the Giant Stage with white checks that was chased by hunters and dove to the lake for safety, but someone has decided because they can't be bothered to learn the name they call it Lake Australia just because it shaped like Australia which it doesn't!! TANTRUM OVER! I'm very protective of my native language! LOVE YOUR VIDS AS ALWAYS!

Then maybe the Welsh government should add a helpful pronunciation guide on signs rather than the Anglicised name. List the phonic spelling of the place name so non Welsh people can learn to pronounce it properly. I agree with you that the Welsh language needs to be preserved and respected, but give visitors a fighting chance.

Some nice images in particular from the drone. At Blyn y Glyn you can do a circular walk by going along the right hand side of the river where there is access to the plunge pools of about 4 smaller waterfalls. As regards sheep's tails it's welfare issue. The tails protecting the delicate areas of the sheep. Farmer told me that having no tail is like being in the house with the front door open. It looked like you were near,at end of video, Ystradfellte where you will find an amazing waterfall walk.

One factor for why your mobile signal is better in Europe is that when you are roaming, you can use any network your home network has a roaming agreement with (often all of them). Also mobile masts are allowed to be taller in most non-UK countries. The height of the mast makes a big difference, not just because line of site is further. It makes a difference at both ends. I have a 4G antenna on my van roof. It's attached to a pole that used to have a TV aerial (which I removed). The mast can be slid up so it's about four feet above the roof: that makes a big difference when the signal is a bit iffy, but even when down it is vastly better than having the mifi inside the van.

We have EE, and router and an external booster box, all has been brilliant else where just not in Wales so much 😆
@MrGdevere3 жыл бұрын
@@campervibe If your "external booster box" is only capable of boosting your signal then that could be your problem since signal boosting is the least effective way to improve mobile broadband. Ask your supplier if the box also combines bands & improves signal quality (not the same as signal strength - think interference). Assuming of course that someone hasn't just sold you a campsite WiFi booster since I've come across several self-builders who have been sold those without being told they don't have any effect when out of range of a WiFi signal.

Croeso I Cymru girls 😁👋 Ah waw your 25miles from where I live 😍👌 love the brecon becons. Watching this at 2:20am monday morning 31st Jan, just wondering if your still in Wales as I'm watching this 🤔 Some stunning walks, hikes and views up the becons 😍👌 Love the comments about the sheep 🐑🤣 tickle 🤣🤣🤣 classic. And brilliant description of our language using the scrabble description, love it 🤣🤣🤣🤣👌 Looks like you loved it here, so happy you found some cracking park-ups here 😁👌 Been without our van for 4 months now, part-exing it, picking it up tomorrow 🥳 omg can't wait to get back out there and go exploring again. Gutted about the internet for you 🙈 Can't wait to see your next video and where you end up here 😁👍 enjoy xxx

With me being from the US, I am having to look up words and and recieving a education at the same time. Continue the adventures and fun but stay safe.

Brilliant start to the vlog Girls. And you were at my favourite place in the Brecons. Waterfall walk is one of the best. We normally park on top of the reservoir dam and all of us have never had a problem with the Internet. But could never get a signal where you stopped overnight lakeside haha. Glad to see you both loving Wales. I don't know if your still up there but the drive along the Llyn Brianne Reservoir is awesome, it's massive. Plus there are Red Squirrels in the woods. Safe travels both x

Tal y bont is my go to place and only few miles from me in Merthyr Tydfil, it’s stunning on the canal in the summer and I thought you would go to Brecon mountain railway for some great pics. Hope you enjoyed it. 👍🏻🏴
