We finally get round to answering your KZbin related questions this week. We get quite a few fairly regularly and thought we'd answer them all in a bit more detail in a video.
So if you are wondering if its worth the effort to set up and grow a KZbin channel, what it's like dealing with trolls, how it effects your mental health, where we want to take the channel, and the big one, how to make money on youtube and how much we make? Then we cover it all in this video!
When we started our channel it was all about our van build of our self converted campervan, it's now progressed to a female van life travel series, sometimes with a bit of comedy thrown in, and along the way we've gathered loads of you who want to come along on that journey with us. So we want to make sure we share as much as we can about that journey, and a huge part of it is our experience on KZbin!
We get so many questions about being vanlife youtubers from you lot, that we wanted to include you in that part of the journey too, as I know some of you are also thinking about trying to earn a full time income from vlogging.
So whether you are interested as you are thinking of starting a channel yourself, or if you're just a nosy parker (and that's fine), or you're wondering if you can make money on KZbin, then this is the video for you!

I’m an Irish woman living in Canada on the brink of a small town . Our home backs onto a huge creek with a forest and a river. There are all sorts of wild life, deer / stags , fox’s, beaver, cayotes, plus lots of birds, wild turkeys, oreoles, hawks , eagles , robins , geese, My husband grows all sorts of veggies. You see so many people out there who just obsess about the vanity metric of numbers and subs and beating other channels but instead of working hard and making videos people want to watch they head out and buy buy buy views subs and even comments . Good content and effort is deffo the way to go, although as you probably know, it sucks sometimes when you put in all that effort and some shit video just flies!! Really interesting video. I did think about starting a KZbin channel showing the stuff my partner Tamsin and I do and I admit that being in a same sex relationship and the troll issue worried me. It was nice to hear that there wasn't too much abuse. When I did have a little go just trying to film myself fixing a big bench power supply I thought I was going to electrocute myself concentrating on the filming. It's bloody hard work so much appreciation for putting in the huge amount of effort required.

Love your attitude, down to earth. I would say you are underrating the build videos. The insulation video, the battening video, the cladding, the flooring - all of them are really priceless - specially because Louise went into sufficient detail to understand the processes involved. I found them really useful and am really grateful for all the time and effort you've put into making them

I’m building my van at the moment, stripped it out of the previous owners plywood and shelving and starting on insulation. Long way to go. Thanks for your inspiration and also love watching you because you and your humour remind me of my daughter and her wife. Sadly my daughter died of cancer two years ago. Hi Ellen, so sorry to hear of your loss. We cannot imagine what it's like for a parent to lose a child, it's shouldn't happen. Ireland is on our list actually, ot sure when we will get over there but it looks stunning! Europe is warmer tho so we always end up going that way lol! It really frustrates me, it is really hard to think of what to do with thumbnails etc It's supposed to be relevant to your video but I've seen other KZbinrs take thumbnail pictures nothing to do with their video.
