3D Animation: How the B&T MP9 Submachine Gun works

The B&T MP9 is a submachine gun chambered in 9mm (9×19mm Parabellum aka 9mm Luger), designed and manufactured by Swiss gun manufacturer Brügger & Thomet since 2004.
The B&T MP9 has a folding stock and was originally designed for bodyguards. But several NATO Air Forces use it as a bailout gun for downed pilots.
It is one of the lightest and most compact 9 mm submachine guns on the market today and was adopted by the Swiss Army under the designation MP14.
The MP9 is a select-fire submachine gun that uses detachable box magazines. It has three safeties: an safety/fire mode selector switch (manual safety), a trigger safety, and a drop safety.
The MP9 is a development of the Austrian Steyr TMP. The design of the TMP was purchased from Steyr in the year 2001.

what is the difference between MP9/TMP/TP9

TMP is the original one made by Steyr before B&T bought it. TP9 Is the semi-auto civilian version, and MP9 the mil/leo full auto

How the hammer sear catch if let the trigger go(from full auto) before the hammer completely reset tho(since I can't see from the top view...)

That side folding flap is the disconnector. When the bolt goes all the way forward, it pushes it to the side, which releases the hammer.

there is a .45 ACP version which means it can definitely fit a 10mm auto as the .45 ACP and 10mm share the same overall length. However, the pressures of the 10mm might be an issue so we will have to wait on that.

why is the barrel turning or rotating for an amount of degrees or almost a quarter of a rotation in the moment of reloading the new bullet

To allow the mass of the barrel to help delay the opening of the breech until the bullet is gone and the pressure is lowered. Then the barrel unlocks from the breech to allow the reloading process. This is known as a short-recoil system. In an Uzi or other system where the barrel is fixed, the breechblock needs to be heavy enough on its own to provide that resistance. That is known as a simple blowback system. That results in the gun being much heavier and more jarring to shoot since that heavy chunk of metal is slamming back and forth. The short-recoil system, while more complicated to produce, is lighter and easier to shoot.

@@johannesmichaelalhaugthoma4215 The locking system is very weird, it kinda looks like a rotating bolt but the barrel is the one that rotates and the lugs aren’t even on the bolt. Very unique system.

@@johannesmichaelalhaugthoma4215 Which kinda reminds me of how the glock is similar to a tilting bolt firearm but the part that tilts is the barrel and chamber, not the bolt carrier which is the slide. Once again the locking lugs are connected to the barrel. I guess that’s what you gotta do when your gun is very small.
