Hey as a Swiss owner of a TP9-N including a suppressor I can give you the following tips: FIRST: shoot it suppressed with Fiocchi 158grs Subsonic ammo and it will be MP5SD quiet without the gas in the face. SECOND: Give the trigger (the hammer actually) a little dremel polishing job, after having rounded the edges slightly. The trigger will be 3 times better without sacrificing safety.

Good review. FYI, there is a 3-lug adapter available for the suppressor. As you noted, there are plenty of smaller optic and light options to keep the platform more compact. The 15-round flush magazine also seems like a good option to keep the mag from sticking out as far while holstered/carrying. B&T makes an adapter for the TP9/MP9/N suppressor that lets it adapt to any standard 3lug. This was done to allow it to be used on other B&T weapons like the GHM9, but lets it adapt to any standard 3lug. Also, they changed the end cap to reduce flash from the muzzle. The old TP9 suppressor had a flat end cap and more flash issues.
@spir1ted2 жыл бұрын
Also notable that the bullpup trigger (heavy trigger) was used because the MP9 was designed from the Steyr TMP first. The semi-auto TP9 was designed from the MP9 for the consumer market and they kept the trigger to keep the product as close to the MP9 as possible. The MP9 obviously uses a heavier bullpup trigger because it's select fire by default.

guns like this are the perfect example of what a 9 mm pdw/pcc is supposed to be. something that is small enough that it's worth the trade-off between cartridges. because if it was much bigger at all you might as well go with 300 blackout and the only time to choose 9 mm is when it's such a small package such as this. at least in my opinion

As a owner of this gun, I absolutely love it. But I don't think I can say I would trust my life to this. A century arms Mp5k is 1000% more reliable and cheaper than a tp9 stock

I'd be willing to spend $2000 for one if it was full auto. These things are stupid expensive.
@martialbushcraft2 жыл бұрын
i think a characteristic of PDWs is they should all be automatic. in which the trigger may not be the biggest deal. unfortunately, that key characteristic is mostly not achievable (to civilians), so PDWs lose a lot of potential of which they could fill a very niche yet drastic role.

So does any pistol in a CAA's earlier Roni G2 kits..not so much with the newer micro versions, but the G2 certainly has that Halo feel about it.

I've shot the APC9K when it replaced the MP5K for a security detail. I feel bad for the B&T because after having experienced the MP5, I don't think I could appreciate it as much. The B&T out of the box had broken sights, magazines broke, lots of malfunctions, and not to mention bolt bite trying to find a good spot for your hands. If you had no other option it might fit the bill, but so many other platforms outperform it on every level.
@MurderBallad2 жыл бұрын
Apc9k pro is non reciprocating ch- no bolt bite.. they got rid of the cheap rail sights. Haven’t had 1 malfunction, super accurate, nice trigger, suppresses well.. I like it more than Sp5k and MPX.. SP5 full size has less recoil…. mags aren’t as good as the metal HK mags but the bumper pads help.. can get a Glock lower or Sig lower for metal mags if you want.

Thankfully, B&T makes an adaptor for the TP9 suppressor so it can be run with traditional fixed barrels/9mm thread patterns.
@christofrini2 жыл бұрын
Double check that? I’m only seeing adapters to convert the proprietary B&T suppressor over to tri-lug. So you could use the TP9 suppressor on whatever gun with a tri-lug, but you can’t use any given 9mm suppressor on the TP9.

The quality of the videos are still great. BUT I've noticed that sometimes you don't mix in too much shooting footage in the middle of the video like you used to do before. Idk why but could you bring that back?
@GeeTBase2 жыл бұрын
I've only recently come across your videos due to the unfortunate circumstances facing our country, which has me researching self-defense options before they are taken away from us (which, although slim, remains a possibility), and after watching a fairly decent sample of your videos and becoming a fan and subscriber, I'd like to leave some feedback, after all, what good are compliments or criticisms if I keep them to myself? First and foremost, I want to say, "Thank you!" for all of the content and the plethora of incredibly useful information that you have been making and providing for us all. Your content is going to be helpful and relevant for generations to come. Excellent work! Additionally, I've noticed that the quality of your videos, especially with regard to the videography, has improved tremendously over the years. It all looks so professional now, it's really quite impressive! In fact, I'm curious as to what type of camera you shoot with, because I've always wanted to know how to achieve that look. Those were the compliments. The criticism, however, comes in due to your narration. I noticed that in your older videos from a few years back, that you sounded much better...like, much much better. Much more natural and realistic, like a friend telling me all about his cool new gun, which was a lot more relatable, inviting, and comfortable to listen to, but unfortunately, unlike the video quality, your narration has changed for the worse. And I noticed that this very same thing often happens to other popular and successful content creators, which is that they become so focused on constantly trying to improve every aspect of their content, including their narration, that they end up losing focus of the successful formula that they started with in the first place, and like you, they lose their genuine and authentic personality in the process. And unfortunately for us as your viewers/listeners, you've adopted this sort of informercial-like persona that is rather annoying to listen to and honestly really off-putting. I don't want to offend you; I'm just trying to be honest in the hopes that maybe you can make some changes for the better and get back to being that relatable person that you once were. Just to highlight the issue, if you just go back and watch your review of the MK18 CQBR from 2016 and compare it to this video, or any recent video, you can hear exactly what I mean. You, in 2016, I could listen to all day long, but you in 2022, not so much. Hopefully you can take this constructive criticism for what it's worth. Cheers.
