Awesome. Looking forward to the app. There are already some apps that can do Apple spatial to SBS conversion on the fly during video playback. Like SpaceWalker is one. SpaceWalker works with AR glasses. Can’t show video on iPhone screen. Then there are spatial video conversion apps that have the feature to playback spatial videos in sbs format on the fly. Like SpatialCamera app and Spatilify app. May be these could provide some help with figuring out how to do it.

That’s pretty great. Congrats in-advance. The 3Dfan app seems to somehow detect that I’m playing a YT video or that I previously selected fullscreen or that it’s a SBS video. Whatever the case, it aggressively starts playback in fullscreen mode when my tap was intended to simply make the controls visible. That’s often so that I can switch playback speeds. That click tells 3Dfan to freeze the screen while preparing to display the fullscreen 3D page. It would be great if your app had better KZbin hooks than that. It would also be great if we could access Albums in the Photos app. I sometimes think testing occurs with a couple dozen or maybe just. A couple pix and videos. I have over 35,000 pictures and videos just in iCloud. Managing or navigating that is easier if I can jump to my favorites or panorama or other Albums to access specific items. I noticed that the phone warms up a bit while using their app. So, a lot of this stuff may be processor-intensive and may be the reason for certain omissions but…if the browser or some windows could remember their previous state, that would be great. That may be a video timeline point or retaining the settings for 3D playback.

@@josh_3D you’re welcome. By the way, your 3D version of a review of unboxing made me aware of a Vuze model I hadn’t previously heard of. I was wondering if you did a review of that unit. I wasn’t able to find it, if so. The little “research” I’ve done suggests that it’s probably not right for me since I don’t think I’d want to have to manually stitch but I’d still be interested in your review, if it exists. If not, thanks anyway.

Similar to another comment, do you know if an Android version might be coming for certain models? I would guess that it might be for Samsung devices of so, but which models to take that into account for my new device?

That is the plan. The screen protectors have been tested on some models and the 3D works, but iPhones will be the focus for now. If everything goes well I will move on to Android next, probably the most popular models.

@@spacecougar there is already a working version for android. But there needs to be enough people interested to manufacture a certain volume of them for various devices and models

Since I put a case on my phone, do i have to remove it to auto calibrate? Can I manual calibrate with rhe case on? Have yoy had to recalibrate very often?

That is definitely the plan, but because it is a more technical feature compared with basic 3D viewing and editing support it won't be arriving too soon. I hope this time next year we will have that feature, but it would be great if it were sooner
