I would adore a circus skinline. Some early KDA concepts were even circus themed and they looked SOOOO good. I'm glad they went with what they did for KDA of course, but it would be great to see the circus concepts not just thrown to the side

Who would have thought. Final Fantasy comes around even in here. Same experiences :D So only texture is base color and maybe normal correct? Also I would guess the concept artist would make a orthograph of the concept so that the 3d artist doesn't have to guess work / improvise when making the model? Oh and now I probably get why you would create the shadows. It's because the game itself doesn't cast any shadows? Even the light is "baked"? Interesting to see some workflow though ^^ Inspirational. Thank you.

The concepts in this game look so good why cant the characters look good too? they feel really unpolished by comparison

The concept art characters are seen really close basically taking up most if not all of your monitor screen when you view them, and the concept artists don't have to worry about things like polygon limits and texture resolution, so they can add in so much more detail, unlike what she is doing. In game the character will take up approximate 4 to 5% of your total monitor screen space? When you think about it that way, all the details seen in the concept won't be seen if that was in the league game, and the characters still have to be readable, so you as a player, know what you're looking at, at a glance.
