Hello! Similar to your earlier AFO, would the new part also need to be thickened extruded? This is fantastic work! Thank you

You can adjust thickness and fineness of mesh with setting triangular mesh.

@@sakurapms Thank you, in the minute 2:50 how did you change color. I try dragging it and nothing happens?

Color does not have meaning much. I just change it for easy to see it. Go to left menu bar and “Sharders” Choose the color ball you like and drug to the target object you want to change color.

Great video! Question: Is there a way to have the 'Dual Edges' Pattern (the brace in your video) to not interfere with the original model (the leg in your video)? The pattern seems to expand in- and outword and thus overlap with the original model. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment. If you want to have. space in between brace and leg surface, usually we need to make space. Using Meshmixer, you can select the surface (leg) and go to "Edit" and select "Extract" You can input desired space with slider there. Then selected area will have space in between the leg surface. Select the floating surface and press "Y" key, make the floating area individual. After this you can make "Dual Edge" pattern. I hope this helps you.🙂

I don't understand why, but it keep crashing when I click on Dual Edges. It crash when I refined the edges. If i don't do that, it work perfectly fine. Any help ?
@sakurapms4 жыл бұрын
The refining edge in the video is just making the edge polygon closer, meaning not having Voronoi pattern. The course of crashing maybe comes from polygon's size. Or, if you can get a good result with no refined edge is fine. then you make edge without Voronoi pattern separately. select two area for edge and voronoi patterned.

Thanks. That leg data was instantly I made with Meshmixer, not exact scanned data of real leg. I think you can find many nicer data in the net.
