This took me right back to my childhood when my mom made me a green chocolate brontosaurus cake for my birthday one year. It was a sheet cake cut into the silhouette of a dinosaur and covered in colored frosting and it was one of the coolest things she ever did for me. Thanks for the happy nostalgia trip. 🦕

Wonderful! At the end it looks like you are feeding the Dino it’s own body. lol Does modeling chocolate, especially white one have a strong taste? Also, i was wondering, in Germany we like to wrap cakes in Marzipan, would that work or just slide off?

Hi CoffeeCat, My boys were disappointed that the white modelling chocolate didn't taste of chocolate. It doesn't have a strong taste, just not as sweet as fondant. With the marzipan you'd need to experiment, I saw some fruits made of marzipan in italy but they were all fairly flat or round - so not sure if it would hold it's shape upright
