I wonder if the trail elbow being ahead of the trail hip at impact is the key to keeping the trail wrist angle needed for desired shaft-lean. Without that, early release from more of a “whipping” motion of the trail forearm occurs naturally.

Great video! I've finished reading the Kindle version of your book and am committed to learning the single plane swing. I find it almost impossible to slice the ball now! One thing I notice from the down the line view of the 3D animation is at address, the legs have a noticeable flex. Whereas, you have said that Moe Norman was straight-legged at address - "What's straighter than straight?" is what I remember. Is this due to individual differences in anatomy?

Had to subscribe after watching this video! Great content and production. Was his iron swing the same as his driver?

Yes he used this single plane setup for all of his full swings, just with variations in distance from the ball, degree of side bend at address, stance width and ball position. His club face was always setup directly beneath his nose, which is why the club face was set the furthest behind the ball with a driver because he had the most side bend with the longest club.
