03:42 you can connect an external app like krita to paint the texture, it will automaticly open krita with the uv map of the model

With such little models and textures sizes, definetily keep Texel Density in mind in order to have consistent textures across the model. Great video as always!

There is a way to bake ambient occlusion to texture in blender, it's really nice way to set up your texture before starting to paint, makes it easier and looks nice.

I remember when I initially started using godot a long time ago it was really hard finding good comprehensive tutorial, since my pc couldn't handle unity the only option I had was godot but nowadays thanks to content creators like you who are exploring godot and also teching us 😃

Regarding material settings: should you use specular = 0 or roughness = 1 and metallic = 1? In my understanding PBR shaders always have a transition to specular at shallow angles. Specular = 0 makes the specular part black, while rough metallic makes the specular part identical to the diffuse.
