This is an interesting solution for a Rittreck camera. However I reviewed the website but did not find information on the following: (1) Will it accept the Linhof filmholders? The Fidelity 5x7 holders are in my measurement 18.2mm thick while the Linhofs are something 21.8mm thick. (2) Is there any way to attach a Rittreck 5x7 viewing hood in your design? (3) What printing printing material would be best for this purpose? Many thanks.

1. Probably not. This is for standard 5x7 holders 2. No, I recommend a suitable dark cloth 3. Whatever gives you the best results. I used PLA. ABS would also work if you manage to print it without warping issues.

@@e-mat6077 Thank you. If you have an opportunity to measure, I'd be interested in a confirmation of what maximum thickness of filmholders your design can accept. There is a standard only for the outer dimensions of 5x7"/13x18cm filmholders - but Fidelity, ANSCO, Kodak filmholders are all different in thickness.

@@e-mat6077 Is it possible to modify your 3d design in order to allow accepting holders that are 22mm thick?

@@nicholasmikalajpackajeu3250 If the outer dimensions are otherwise identical, then you might only need to scale up the z-axis of the 5x7 base part, screen frame and pressure plate by the same percentage that your holder is higher than a standard one.

@@e-mat6077 Yes, all the modern 13x18cm, 5x7, and half-plate Graflok-type holders have identical outer dimensions, albeit different thickness.

Hi E-Mat, that looks truly brilliant. I have checked out your thingverse page and would like to let a service print your files. However people on you page state that the specs of the baseplate are wrong because it has apparently a size of more than 2 meters ! Would love to let it print and of course I would send you a tip for that :-). Could you please double check your files. Kind regads Marcelo

Hi, the sizes are 100% correct. Just make sure your slicer is set to metric and that the slicing software is correctly configured. I used Cura to print mine and as you can see on the video, it´s way less than 2 meters in size... ;)
