Awesome tool! Just looked at the link and would like to know when someone can verify if this will work on Ivory Bridge.

+Jason Dahlstrom I used this too delid both Haswell and Skylake, but I think it would also work with ivy bridge. If you print the one linked and you want it to delid ivy bridge, then you can just sand down the IHS notch openings (not the IHS, but the tool) to match (that's what i did for haswell to work)

Fantastic! Now I'll have to hunt down someone to print it out and I'll let you know how it goes. That is if someone doesn't already chime in. Thank you again!

Can you provide a link to the product page?

I printed it from an stl file from thingiverse. Here is a search result, if u don't have a 3d printer many public libraries have them. www.thingiverse.com/search?q=Delid&page=1&type=things&sort=relevant

can you use a hammer with this tool?
@jordanfranck7 жыл бұрын
No that may damage the PCB
@travislu82238 жыл бұрын
How much more dangerous is doing this with a C-clamp? Don't own a vise
@jordanfranck7 жыл бұрын
Not very, you could always use a flat piece of wood or something flat and hard to put in between the plastic and c clamp to evenly distribute the pressure

Annyone knows if someone moded this to work with older CPUS like 771 xenon's ? I would really need that but have no slue how to mod the files.
@lucaskoch54938 жыл бұрын
+compufreek I'm pretty sure those are soldered to the IHS. I delidded my Pentium D which is an LGA 775 chip for fun and it was soldered to the heat spreader.
