It's good to keep costs down but carbon spars are so much stiffer and stronger, and really don't add too much cost for the performance increase, in my opinion. Perhaps a PLA-CF I beam could be okish.

From the video it seem to fly a bit like the Model R, which is also a sport plane with a fairly neutral dihedral. I'm still curious about its robustness.

okay. I just opened fusion 360 to design an rc plane and clicked on this to watch while waiting for fusion doing its things; I wasnt shure about how exactly it should look as the possibilitys are basically endless. Now Ill attempt designing something as immaculate as this, even though I wont ever be abled to cook up something this clean

Good luck. You need to design the inside as much as the outside and for that you really should understand continuous single layer line which is essential for LW-PLA to look anything decent. Else you'll have quite a lot of weight.

@WernerBeroux I already designed a plane and gave up lol; it really makes you appreciate slicers making infill on their own. Doing it as perfect as eclipson does seem impossible to me

You can hand launch and belly land pretty much all of them. Just make sure your CG is on point, and that you have enough battery to do a couple of approaches.

Nice video. I just don't know why it's called INFERNO when the designer did everything to keep it from flying too fast. The double tails, the 4 corners between the rudders and the elevator, the undercarriage "pants"... all this increases aerodynamic drag.

Unfortunately, not a good company to recommend. I bought a plane from the online shop and paid with PAY PAL, but never received a download link. There was no response even after repeated requests. So BE CAREFUL.
