I did not know the delete key trick. This is going to be a huge time saver. Thanks!

Yes, I find many times it is easier and a lot faster than trying to use the traditional tools fix issues like that. It doesn't always work but when it does it is a huge time and frustration saver!

Hey Vlad, You must have read my mind. Ever since your laser cutting video on this, I've been wanting to try to do exactly this (naturally), but hadn't got the time. You beat me to it :-) I will definitely be giving this a go soon. Another few tricks few tricks I've learned too, I had completely forgotten about the align tool. I've been converting everything to Components and using the various Joint commands, no more unnecessary components for me. Can never have too many tips or tricks. Thank you.

Wow, I thought you printed it with flexi . Then, I saw that you used normal PLA. Thanks a lot for sharing this. I will try to do this one!

Go to Preferences -> General -> Design. Uncheck the box "Auto hide sketch on feature creation". That will keep sketches around after creating a feature. I find this less annoying that to have the sketches go away. What I really want is a "read my mind" checkbox, but that seems to be more that current state of the art can provide ;)

Thanks marchyman. Great tip. I like the "read my mind" checkbox. I'll submit the request to Fusion 🙂

I have been wondering about how to do this since your last video. I still have absolutely no idea how I can use it. However, I learned enough new tricks in this video to make the whole exercise very valuable. I always learn at least one new thing about F360 with each of your videos.

Delete Faces can cause a speed problem if you are working on a complex model. Been having a play with living hinges and Laser cut ply because of your last video too :)

Good to know. Glad to hear you're experimenting with the technique. I find it a lot of fun to play with and opens up many design possibilities that are otherwise not possible when working with a rigid material like pla.

@@DesktopMakes I have been doing a few Laser/3D printed hybrid jobs recently, nice to have both options to use. Couple of my Living Hinge builds here rdworkslab.com/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=3917 Laser cut the wool felt lining this morning for the glasses case.

Thx. :) A very interesting method / approach. Certainly worth implementing for various 3D prints.

I know this is out of context but can't get an clear answer to this. I have created a 6x8 in picture frame and want to reproduce at a different sizes. Another way to say this is I want to manufacture diff sized versions. How do I do this without having to redraw every time?
