This has been a great and very interesting series. I am wondering if you design/build your own drives or if these are ordered from a manufacturer such as Bachman also? I just ordered a AnyCubic Photon S 3D resin printer and after the learning curve hope to begin printing some HO scale things such as figures, structures, and intermodal containers to name a few. The print quality this printer is capable of is outstanding and eventually I would like to print rolling stock and possibly even some locos. Thanks for sharing this series.

Hi John, all of the parts and loco bodies that I've designed fit Bachmann mechanisms. Bachmann is the major player in On30, and makes a range of HO mechanisms that work well for On30 bashes. 3D printing opens up so much for the hobby. I really see 3D printing as the way niche scales like On30 will survive and thrive.
