well, bike clutches are paper, so should be fine :-) Plus more spring force makes a huge difference

If I make a new one to mate to an engine or so, I'll definitely use more springs and see if that helps from slipping

@@floridamangonwild no one has done it with a internal combustion engine to my knowledge. Nitro Rc cars RPM in the range of 25,000-37,000 Edward page tested straight cut Unlubricated gears to nearly 40,000 before it exploded. so I don’t see why it couldn’t be done.

Ive been trying to prototype a small clutch for RC vehicles for awhile. I started pouring silicone molds in order to make resin/sand composites for thd clutch pads, it all failed. Im going to try your hotglue method.

Try destruction testing it! Put the clutch in the vice, hook the shaft to a drill, and go until it melts

I suspect the surfaces will partially melt then start gluing together before being completely torn apart. Is there some way it may be improved by using inserts of a more durable material without making it too hard to manufacture.

@@CamdenBowen what happened to the video of you doing it?
@RonPaul20082012 Жыл бұрын
It would pair well with fluid coupling and if the clutch was operated hydraulically by a pump and a valve body.
