I really like your design, but before I start printing, have you made any improvements that you could share? I tried to work with the STL files to shell out the nose to lighten it and so I could put in floatation, but Fusion 360 is not cooperating. I also wanted to put the hole for the shaft and alignment tabs to help connect the hull pieces. I'll keep at it, but I wanted to check if there were any updates.

Hi that's a great job, can I ask how did you join the 4 parts together? Did you do it from the inside or outside? Any reinforcements?

I use super glue for 4 parts and i add two aluminum arrows tubes inside with fiberglass and epoxy. U can see it on video

Where did you get the drive shaft. Can you post a link where you got it from. I've ordered a couple different sizes but none of them are long enough. Also where did you get the motor and esc mounting hardware.

@@evaldinoxx What size mount did you get and what size motor? Also how fast do you think your boat goes? I printed a normal size boat and one that at 125 % which is a 3 foot monster . What size should I order for the regular size model?

​@@dragonconley44 my motor model 3660 (36 is a diameter and 60 is lenght). motor holder 36dia. i dont know my catamaran speed. this motor and esc too much power for 80cm boat. on my video throtle about 90/93% i cant run 100% because when prop turns on left side my boat turns on right side. i fix this problem and next summer i can say boat speed. i cant print bigger boat. if i can print catamaran about 120/125cm i would put inside two props and two power systems like mine

If you wanted it out of fibreglass you could create a fibreglass mould by wrapping round the 3d print and then use that mould to create the boat

Great build, I almost build the same model on my 3D printer (74cm) and now installing the last pieces electronics. I used almost the same hardware as yours. 3674 motor, 150A ESC, same prop and rudder as yours only I use 2x 3S 5000mah batteries running on 6S so should be a little more power...
