Well, I would appreciate being able to see what kind of configuration you have in the program to use for 3d printing and, above all, how to apply the putty so that everything is completely uniform. Jaime Virlan Ruiz thank you! I will be releasing a video shortly about the electronics inside that motorize the faceplate and i will include how i configured the helmet in the slicing software :). I use Cura and printed the helmet into 3 parts: the Faceplate, the Jaw, and the rest of the head.

Jaime Virlan Ruiz there are several videos on how to apply bondo and spot putty, but it is very similar to applying drywall. I can make another video regarding that in the future. Not including print time, the total finishing and painitng took around maybe 15-20 hours total, and the electronics i had to mess around with a bit so maybe another 2 hrs

It is also better to sand outside to not breath in the plastic particles

Hello good afternoon, I love how the helmet has been, I have an ender 3 and when I put the largest part of the helmet to print I have also oriented it so that it does not create much support for me but how do you remove the base that it creates in the back of the helmet? do you use an electric sander or cutting pliers? is that I would like it to be as smooth and homogeneous as possible, I wait for a response, thank you very much and greetings

Jaime Virlan Ruiz After i printed it i did have a bit of trouble removing it from the bed, and the way i had it oriented, with the back of the helmet facing down, used little amount of supports compared to the other options, and the least amount of time. There was more clean up and sanding involved and for that i just used some bondo and an orbital sander and it worked out great for me

Just using some needle nose pliers will remove the bulk of the supports

it depends on how big you scaled it. mine is around 110-115% the original file and the chin still blocks a bit, but its still manageable to fit on my head

@@Lolodosis-Abge cutting into it is always an option justs make sure to fill the infill edges with some kind of filler so it doesnt scratch your chin. the other option would be to remove the bulk of the chin entirely on the bottom

@@hassanahmed3312 it was a bit of a process but i sprayed everything with a silver krylon paint, then applied dupli-color’s mettalic red automotive paint. and for the gold i used “champagne mist” by rust-oleum
